Quote:You know . . . I am in a GRUMPY mood lately. (My mother moved in with me. Somebody please shoot either me or her - I really don't care which.) You know, my Mother and I got along just about that well when we lived together. Hang in there. |

Re: eBayer Refuses to Bid on Auction because Seller's Listing said Happy Holiday
I don't know who it is. I just all of a sudden started having auctions cancelled every time I turn around. It appears that someone has me on their favorite sellers list and then goes on a reporting frenzy whenever I list. Not only are my listings getting cancelled - they are coming down in record time. (Apparently I found the one thing eBay can do quickly.)
Anyway, the chickie is taking an eBay break after the holidays. |

The same thing used to happen to Quimby whenever he would stick up for me-----200-300 listings reported and pulled each time for a while. What aspholes!! Good idea to take a break---ideal in January, lol. |

Quote:I don't want to offend anyone but it seems like either way somebody isn't going to like it. I have the same dilemma every time I start talking to myself. The 1/4 of me that's Italian Catholic starts cursing when I say Happy Holidays, and my 3/4 Italian Jew side cringes when I wish myself a Merry Christmas. |

Seriously, if saying "Happy Holidays" to a person (which is really the most polite thing to say)is going to offend them, I don't think I care to know the dolt or do business with etc.. |

At first I thought it was a competitor, but the listings that have been pulled span different widget lines.
It's sorta funny, because presumably they've been reporting everything and really only scoring a small percentage of the time. I stopped posting on the Stores Board a while back but my guess is that my little fan came from there. |

Quote:those kinds of messages don't surprise me, but for the seller to revise all her listings afterwards, is just crazy stupid.Very indicative of how easily most folks are intimidated. This person would do well on wagglepoop. |
