Re: eBay Refuses to Fight Identity Theft On Its Site
That's just such  Bs.    eBay removed the neg, saying that the buyer didn't respond to an UID (which is not factually accurate) but left the stupid comments.
Why not go that extra step . . . and do the right thing??  Obviously someone at eBay made the call that this FB was not proper so why not remove the comments as well?

I agree that this looks like a prankster who hit Woodland, among others, randomly but it has been (understandably) upsetting to her.    So why not go that teensy extra step and just freakin' remove it?  eBay does remove fb comments.

I'm betting that if I left "eBay is a bunch of lying sack of shit bastards" as feedback for someone, they'd remove it.  Tongue2  (Even if I left it for myself on another ID. Smile)

Is the stalker still selling?  Is it a competitor?   Not sure if you can or want to answer those questions but I wanted to ask anyway!

Add a period after the s to avoid the filter.  :twistedevil: I'm not sure why we have that word filter since a couple of the smilies say the word. We do have a few other filters...type in Pompous Jay's eBay user ID and see what the filter says  Angel1

His main ID is still active on eBay.  Several of his posting IDs were NARUed...including ones that had bid on his own items.  :Smile  He wasn't a competitor.

yep.

Another question .. what would ebay do if this had been one of the Big Top Powersellers .. hum I'm sure they would have had a different response.

Just for the record, I realize that what is going on with Woodland pales compared to the carp that went on with Pirate.  I just wanted to point out how eBay keeps their heads stuck up their asses, instead of helping sellers that are dealing with stalkers or just plain idiots.

My point was that sellers often have to put up with aspholes and eBay offers no customer service... they just join the asphole club!

They would have removed the comment when they removed the negative.

eBay won't provide customer service until users agree to pay a fee for it.  Laughing7

Or a glitch.

I don't understand the significance or "up side" to a user
of removing the neg number so it don't count against your percentage
but NOT removing the comment too.
