I sweetched tee Beeta three
I thought you hated betas........ Is it better than 2? 2 started out driving me friggin' crazy with all of the crashes. Then, for a while, it got a lot better. Since the last update, it totally friggin' SUCKS!! |

RE: Mozilla Releases Firefox 3
FF2's memory consumption definitely sucks.

RE: Mozilla Releases Firefox 3
Quote:Memory usage: Several new technologies work together to reduce the amount of memory used by Firefox 3 over a web browsing session. Memory cycles are broken and collected by an automated cycle collector, a new memory allocator reduces fragmentation, hundreds of leaks have been fixed, and caching strategies have been tuned. I'm dying to download it mostly because fo the improvements to memory usage, and all the very sweet new features........but, the majority of my add-ons are incompatible. Damn it! |

RE: Mozilla Releases Firefox 3
I installed it Wednesday night but didn't get a chance to use it until now because a boinktard construction crew down the block accidently cut an underground Time Warner cable which left us without Internet access (and phone service) for 1 1/2 days. I can definitely say that the FF3 beta 5 is a huge improvement over the browser on the T-Mobile MDA I've been using the past few days. ;D
I would go in to withdrawal........ :blinkie: Quote: I can definitely say that the FF3 beta 5 is a huge improvement over the browser on the T-Mobile MDA I've been using the past few days. ;D I don't have FF on mine.....I suppose I should install it since I despise IE. I think I'll wait to install 3 until some of my favorite extns update to be compatible. Currently, the only one that is compatible (that I have), is web developer. I wish the others would get on the ball, especially Google! |

Quote:which left us without Internet access PDA browsers suck. FedEx Kinkos sucks even more...$18 per hour to use their PCs (which only have IE7).
