Re: TulipNewsBot/Member Showcase Mall discussion
Who's the dumbass who set the new feed for member showcase instead of holding pen? The unread topics list is full of mall items now.

Quote:Holding Pen Quote:Member Showcase Mall rss There's a bit of a backlog in editing the html of incoming mall ads and moving them from the holding pen to the showcase. :blinkie: |

TulipNewsBot Demoted! Member Mall Beta over...and so is the mall!
The beta testing is over and so is the member mall.
The Bad news: the rss feed (forum) member mall is closed because we didn't have time to maintain it ...the html in each listing pulled in by the feeds had to be edited by hand. That whooshing sound you just heard (and the drop in topics on the front page from 15800 to 9200) was us deleting the mall's hidden Holding Pen forum where there were 6600 items waiting to be edited :blinkie: The Good News: the rss feed (directory) member mall lives! The directory will have an Online Retailers section and you'll be able to add your store's RSS feed when you submit your site. The latest RSS feed items will appear on the details page of your directory listing (and most importantly for us: we won't have to manually edit the listings and they'll always be current) PS the directory will be open by the end of the month...or maybe the end of the week. |
