Retro 1970s Possibly Older Irregular Black Glass Funky Beads LOTS OF THEM

These beads are cool. I hesitate to call them vintage, because I'm not entirely sure of their age, but they did come from a friend's retro jewelry trunk (lots of costume jewelry from the 50s, 60s, 70s.).

The beads are shiny black glass and irregularly shaped, for very striking design possibilities. One side of each almost-cylinder bead is flat, for added interest. The beads are roughly anywhere from 3mm - 5mm in size and there are HUNDREDS (probably thousands) of them on this temporarily strung clutch.
