New to RedHat Fedora
Trying out a Red Hat Fedora 4 based box - I was just going to use OpenSSH, but was wondering if any of you guys had a better SSH program that you recommended.
Also, I was going to put WebMin on there - just wondering if anyone here had used that with Redhat, and if there were any bad issues with that? Jen |

Re: New to RedHat Fedora
I use PuTTY (on a Win XP Pro PC). I also have Tera Term Pro on an old Windows NT workstation (no idea if it works with XP).
We've used WebMin for the past 6 years on Red Hat (and SuSe) servers and never had a problem. Its one of my favorite programs. It doesn't mangle your system files like cPanel and Plesk do... webmin http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...124.0.html

Re: New to RedHat Fedora
Excellent - I get such great information from you.
That's wonderful news about the WebMin - it looks great, and I love open source. CPanel is just too expensive, and Plesk - well I know hostdepartment blamed them for being down for weeks on end - whether that was true or not, I'm not really sure. Jen |
