This mini oil pastel painting was inspired by imagery from a Beck song: "Something's Coming... the sky is Purple"

Leaves on a nearby tree begin to slant and flutter as the wind picks up. The sky behind is slowly turning an eerie, yet intriguing shade of purple. A storm is coming, so late in the afternoon... are you ready for it?

Bright, bold colors are done in high quality Van Gogh oil pastels.
