He claimed to be starting an auction site and had a coder to do an open script 

He IP banned by my count 15 members last night the 26th of june for no other reason then he wants to be the center of attention. Some of these members don't even know they were banned at this point.

He claims he is sick. Sorry don't believe it at least not the way he wants you to think. (mental is a better word in this case)

Well there is a certain member of TT that I will be working with to charge Brian with defamation & identity theft.

I think got banned too and I don't even know why.  I can't get into the site. I haven't posted in a while and when I did, I didn't break any rules... that I'm aware of anyway.

Brian... if you read here... why did you block me from going into your site?  What did I do?

You got banned for being associated with me.  Guilt by association.

From what we've been able to determine, everyone who has been banned was either someone who recently joined my new forum or someone who I've done/worked on a website for.

Brian is mad at me and being vindictive for several reasons.  His main issue with me is twofold.  I recently discovered he was using the Alexa manipulator script to boost his dwindling rank.  I also found out he wasn't telling the truth about hiring coders to build an auction site from scratch.  There never were any coders.  He was attempting to do the coding himself and when that failed he began testing boxed auction scripts to try and pass off as a hand coded site.  Sound familiar?

After seeing these things, I realized he was no better than Ray Romeo.  I didn't want to be associated with a person of this caliber and resigned my position as Administrator at the WPSSU forum on June 18th.

Needless to say, the combination of this and me starting my own forum sent him on a Ray-isque banning spree.

I apologize for any innocent bystanders who got caught in this crossfire.

That is 100% true. I haven't been posting anywhere much lately (business has been good), but do try to keep up on the reading.
I was as shocked as anyone to find out that I was banned from that site. I didn't (and still don't) know why. I got no reply from the email that I sent him early this morning. I had to send it through the generic email, since I can't access the forum. At this point I can say that it's not a great loss. Not much going on there but silly games (literally).
Rat, I saw your resignation, and kind of wondered why, but figured you had your reasons. I did join your new forum, and posted all of (I think) two times. You "tweaked" my website (ok, overhauled it). I hang out on the TT boards (several of them), because there is a wealth of info here. Do any of these things make me a threat to wpssu? NO ! Do these things make me guilty by association? I guess so.
But I can't think of a better bunch to be associated with. This is a highly motivated group with seemingly unlimited business knowledge, and a complete willingness to share ideas, tips, and advice.
So my name has been added to the list of banned users. Just one less place to check in on. So April demoted me from being an Administrator because she didn't think I posted enough, and Brian banned me for posting someplace else. Oh well, life goes on.
At the end of the day, only one thing matters.... My website will still be there tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that. And that's the one site I'll NEVER be banned from !

Hi everyone I kind of figured that it would just be a matter of time before others saw Brian's true colors.   This is why I didn't go back to WPSSU when I was invited back.   This is why when he apologized I was very leary and said that his future actions would determine who if any would trust him again.  I can see from the post here today that he has not changed.

For anyone who does not know why they were banned from his site yesterday it is because of your association with who ever he was mad at.  The same thing happened when I was banned others were banned and didn't know why.

Rat I believe he's been using that for a very long time now.  He had mentioned a long time ago to someone that he had a secret to boost the traffic rank.  He offered to share his secret with this person but they declined.  Also me and some other sellers had discussed the fact that for the very large amount of traffic he was getting at WPSSU that none of us were getting hits to our stores from there.  We all thought this was very strange.

Yes sounds very familiar.  Brian does not know what he is doing when it comes to coding.   I'm not saying that I do but I know he doesn't know enough to do the coding for an auction site.  I think he'll have problems with the running the boxed aution scripts.  I could tell from the WPSSU home page that he did not know what he was doing or what the heck he had on that page.  Believe me there were problems there but that's a whole other story.  Same goes for the home page of his store on WP when he was there I don't know if any of you remember that.  But I took one look at it and said this seller does not know what their doing.  WP made him take it down.

Exactly this is why I posted before in another thread that going from WP to an auction site that Brian started would be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire.  I think Brian would run an auction site with the same type of people skills that Ray has. 

I'm just glad I got out of both places.

After the blow up in February, I stayed away from WPSSU until I had an episode with AQ I wanted to post about, so I made one post. After reading this, I am glad that I did not get any more involved with that site than I did.

Hi, my name is Patti and I've also been banned from WPSSU by association. 


I do not think I posted anything vulgar or anything against the posting rules to be banned. The only threads I usually used were the Share Your Wares and some of the game threads when time allowed.

Since I did not see an increase in traffic from this site, I am not very worried.

I am glad not to be associated with that site any longer. I do not want my business to be associated  with a person like Brian.

translation: the auction site boards are completely useless for sellers because they're only allowed to see the site owner's/cheerleaders' rah rah promotional crap which is naturally 100% positive.
