Maybe the sales could improve a smidget by clearing all the 5 pages live chat windows, maps, and all the store templates and pointless information (and blank space) buyers have to scroll through at the top of the stores just to get to the products... and do it every time they visit another page.

It looks like a buggy PHP mods pimp attempted to borrow the social features from a certain Ruby on Rails programmer's site and failed miserably --unless his aim was to slow down pages and add another reason to hit the back button, in which case he succeeded.

...and once they finally get to the product listing they're greeted by large bold type, amateurish templates, etc.

Etsy and Bonanzle made the right decision when they decided to go the Amazon route and ban HTML in listings in order to provide buyers with a uniform shopping experience on every page.

Shopping on eBay and wannabe clones like ASs is not a buyer friendly experience - the listing description on every product page uses different fonts, templates, and many of the stores use their own navigation (think eBay stores with custom templates).  Buyers often have to hunt to find the information they need - especially if the seller has hired a clueless eBay Stores or alt-site "designer" to make their listing and store templates

All references to "Alsoshop LLC" were removed from the alsoshop,com site this week after somebody on complaintsboard.com said they planned to file a complaint with the California AG about Alsoshop's use of a fake LLC.  The WHOIS records still show  Alsoshop LLC as the owner, and there are a few Google search results which still show it:

Here's a glowing review of ASs from a satisfied customer:

AlsoShop.com and Ms. Lynette Jester or Ms. Lynette kept my $2.50 verify fee. And now I cannot access my seller account and have not receive my new password.

And this is almost like some scam auction site to paid the fee and still not have access to your own seller account in order to sell items.

I want my money back and need my account to be completely closed and emailed back on this closure

The owner still hasn't deleted all his references to "Binarywebs Developments, LLC" from all his other sites, but he did remove it from and does seem to be deconstructing the illegal file sharing site he built at torrenscript.com.

50% of etailers are expected to offer m-commerce sites for shoppers within the next 5 years.  Based on its owner's "no use for..." comment, ASs probably won't be one of them.

And this one can be verified. It's not a lot better off than the other Probidders, but at least they started off telling the truth.

The really sad part is that he can't even tell how having a real LLC would save his a$$. There is no protection if a large Probid site like Webidz or Specialist Auctions gets a bad mod from him (like that ever happens  ) that corrupted their database, and Ray gets sued. He'd lose his daddy's little fishing business because he claimed he operated a limited liability company, but in reality it's just him in his PJ's using a laptop in his kitchen with no protection for either him or his jammies.

Hard isn't the problem. You're dealing with a rinky dink owner who runs her site out of her basement her mother's basement and thinks $10-$20 mods are expensive.  Forming an LLC costs more than $20.  Incorporation isn't in the budget of a site that generates $50 monthly gross   $100 monthly gross [I forgot the $$ from PP verification fee skimming  tolensmiley: ] before server fees, and Traffic Swarm / ReallyStupidDolts /Surf4bargains upgrade fees.
