Quote: problems with his Google Base mod To quote something Sneaky has said: somebody needs to lay off the crack when they're programming their cheap mods. Google Product Search Wrote:Results 1 - 10 of about 449,471 for site:alsoshop.com 449,471 items fed to Google Base from a site with only 32,785 listings is quite an accomplishment. It might be time to find a new outsourced programming staff. edit: 3 hours later and it's up to 476,464 |

My sites had the same incorrect count when I uploaded them last night, and it was just a mirror of the last page basically into infinity. In defense of the Fisherman of the High Seas of PimpmasterWebs LLC: Quote:Quite frankly, (as if I were not being frank enough), it is none of anyones business who does what, where, why, or how.Nothing is owed to you, or to anyone. Without individuals like me, Mark, Mo, and the droves of other Auction operators, you'd have no alternatives to turn to, to sell your trinkets, and or have locations such as this one, to discuss freely most anything you like. http://www.powersellersunite.com/about18...tml#163022

Re: PlunderHere and AlsoShop: A Web of Privacy Violations, Backstabbing, and Deceit
I'm sure with this whole Auxoo thing, Plunderhere's days are numbered for sure.
PSU has been nothing but slow and boring. Lame ol ghost town and seems only ones that post there are bored out of their minds as well. Many I used to see don't even waste their time there anymore. Good for them to. Funny he thinks that Plunderhere or ASS can even be considered "alternatives". ....LOL |

Funny he thinks that Plunderhere or ASS can even be considered "alternatives". ....LOL
Just an FYI in case you weren't there then... That statement from the fisherman was made (and he was quoted since and forevermore by Sneaky) back in early 2008... Onto PSU PSU is now more cluttered with the political and non-business news chatter (with hostility toward the President that would have been reported to the secret service if it had been said against Bush) than it is with "alternatives" to eBay. There are more spam threads started than non-spam threads. There is more hostility toward a non-conformist site being mentioned now than there ever was in the days I wasted there. And the sad thing is that if any site that looks better than Probid sites is mentioned at PSU now, it won't stand a chance. It will be nitpicked to death about anything remotely problematic (like GoDaddy was) just like the fisherman threatened to sue the pants off every member of this forum for broadcasting his and Mo's sale to an admitted moron. Here is the breakdown of regular PSU posters: There are site admins and moderators (Mo, Ray etc.) PO'd that Bonanzle and AM (God only knows why) outshined their chance to make Probid attractive to the sellers listers. There are sellers from Bonanzle (not many) who pop in from time to time to chat about the site in their own section of PSU. AM Mike's spamming of nearly every thread about another site with completely pointless comments including his laughing stock "Big Deal" banner. There are the AM spammers who can't wait for a reason to flash their siggy links and banners by making ridiculous non-topical statements, sometimes even linking into AM directly in their post. A forum junkie plagiarist. And, 3 or more daily 10+ post spammers for Cialis, IPhones, Porn, or anything else normal people would find offensive. Then, these posts stay bumped to the front page for hours because the boinktards spoken of above post "reported" and "thanks" in that order. Based on all of this, PSU has no business being in a marketing plan of any kind. Any Ecommerce oriented site who's 'elders' promote joining a site like Auxoo with 20k+ illegal listings is nothing but a waste to market yourself to.

Re: PlunderHere and AlsoShop: A Web of Privacy Violations, Backstabbing, and Deceit
Quote:We did add easier sorting and search by price hopefully making it easier for buyers to find what they need, especially if we continue to grow (we have added 35,000 + auctions in the past few months). Many sites cater primarily to the seller and neglect the buyer, hopefully we can make buying easier and safer for our buyers along with continued improvements for sellers.http://www.powersellersunite.com/post-28...tml#281043 You can start by removing the illegal knockoffs you sell under your handbag account. Then you can get all that Nazi crap off the site. Then you can get all the illegal knockoff watches, bags, jewelry, electronics, and phones from all the sellers Mark recruited from his home country of Malaysia before he bailed on you. While you are at it, you should just close the site down totally. There is no point in operating a site after you remove the illegal 90% of the items for sale.

Quote:About your question on google base, we are not submitting any items to google at this time and when we do it will be an opt-in only and not default. LOL....Wonder if Google will even allow them to submit their items. If they do, it won't be too long before they get kicked out again. Good luck punk. |

Based on all of this, PSU has no business being in a marketing plan of any kind.
Those using PSU for marketing could go the pro route and buy banner advertising. Or maybe one will eventually break from the herd and do some real and actual marketing. Wait! Wait! Wait! Don't read that!!! Let me stuff it back in the bottle for April Fools Day!!!!! |
