Re: PlunderHere and AlsoShop: A Web of Privacy Violations, Backstabbing, and Deceit
They're finished snatching my IP.
If you use Firefox you can right click a graphic and Block All Images from a particular domain. Their CPanel stats will show PSU's IP (or the site where the banner is displayed) instead of your individual IP addy. To add protection it's best to turn off cookies and third party cookies...I sometimes forget, which is what finally prompted my question. BTW, I have taken to blocking graphics of all auction and marketplace site owners. I don't want to participate in a traffic scrape. But more important where I go on the internet, which forums I use, is none of their fu@cking business. |

I just can't believe all this time and none of those self-professed guru's at PSUck had any idea Mo and her man were doing this.
Although, it does go with the whole premise that PSU is filled with frauds, cons and manipulators. |

But I think the vast majority are sellers that aren't particularly tech savvy. A lot of them are fresh offa' ebay and are fairly naive. Them scuzz-balls do like easy targets! |

I agree. I've just never seen a forum like PSU with so many scuzz-balls. Well, except for some of the scuzz-ball's site forums from which they came.....lol

Mo-Ron demonstates her (lack of) knowledge of the Googleplex again :
Mo-Ron Wrote:I went to boocoo.com... they need to hire an SEO specialist.http://www.powersellersunite.com/post-32...tml#323531 It looks like Google found them despite the https pages tard!!!! Google Wrote:About 1,110,000 resultshttp://www.google.com/search?q=site:boocoo.com by the numbers: AlsoShop 21,000 items, 424K pages indexed in Google Boocooo 50,000 items, 1.1 million HTTPS pages indexed in Google Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Googleclaus and in 2011 he does index HTTPS pages. Proof once again that quantity (of forum posts) is not indicative of quality (i.e. knowledge). EDIT to take another jab at Googleplex expert Mo-Ron: Google Shopping: AlsoShop 13.7K of 21K items included - 65% Boocoo 42.8K of 50K items included - 85%

RE: PlunderHere and AlsoShop: A Web of Privacy Violations, Backstabbing, and Deceit
The MYSQL database server on the crappo Binarywebs hosted server that Plunderhere and Alsoshop share with Ray's other sites has been down all afternoon and Ray is nowhere to be found. How hard is it to restart MySQL (Answer: not very hard. Just open a terminal and type service mysqld restart or service mysqld start).
Mo has 7000+ posts on PSU about donuts and the weather but hasn't posted anything today about the technical problems or when they will be fixed. Doubt if he uses the command line. He's a Cpanel kind of guy. The sites are back up now.

RE: PlunderHere and AlsoShop: A Web of Privacy Violations, Backstabbing, and Deceit
Quote: Plunderhere was sold on 7/25/11: 2nd sale in 10 months. It also sold on Flippa last October for $5K https://flippa.com/109071-8-year-old-auc...ction-site site revenues (auction/store fees) 2/10-10/10 $6238 ; ad revenue $1800 https://flippa.com/auctions/109071/attac...256379.gif https://flippa.com/auctions/109071/attac...256049.gif The person who sold Plunderhere on flippa last October was "DewGuru" aka Ray Spencer aka Spencer Ray aka binarywebs. Quote:Has anyone dealt with Ray Spencer aka "DewGuru"?http://www.thetreasuredepot.com/cgi-bin/...ead=205871 Ray's latest sites http://whois.domaintools.com/treasuresearcher.com and http://whois.domaintools.com/losttreasurefinders.com EDIT to add: LOL. He's given up the boat for a metal detector Quote:The "hunter" as he calls himself, is named Spencer Ray. He had been a charter captain before selling his boat last year, about the time of the BP oil spill. He gave up the business only because his co-captain nearly died of a heart attack and didn't want to spend long days out of reach of medical help in the event he was struck by another. So Captain Ray sold the boat and got into metal detecting. He's a part-time computer programmer and part-time treasure hunter.http://beta2.tbo.com/news/breaking-news/...ar-196712/ http://www2.tbo.com/mgmedia/image/0/354/...dding-rin/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1817060785 |
