Getting Started with Zen
I have registered my domain name just about 30 minutes ago. I'd like to have Zen installed on the domain name, but I'm not even sure the name is ready yet. How can I know ?
I'll just keep this thread running cuz I know I'll need help with my Zen site. |

Re: Getting Started with Zen
The domain is ready.
The cart we install comes with the default classic green template and the Purple Shades template. If you want a different template installed let me know and I'll install it when I do the cart. You can see all of the free templates that are available here (use the template switcher menu on the right to switch between templates): http://www.zencarttemplates.info/137/index.php

Re: Getting Started with Zen
Thanks BBH. I'd like the Sophy Blu template, please. Is it easy to change the header? I'll need to design one.

Is it easy to change the header? I'll need to design one.
I'm probably the wrong one to ask. We've been buying our templates :-[ RiverRat (and Eclectica) are the resident Zen template experts. I don't think it'll be that hard to redo the header though. Your cart should be ready within the next few hours. I'm uploading the files now.

Re: Getting Started with Zen
I thought changing the header image would change it, but it seems there's some alt image text and some other wording that I can't find out how to change. It is probably in a PHP file which I looked at but was like reading chinese to me.

Re: Getting Started with Zen
I have my USPS API and my Paypal IPN in use for my other website. Can I use them on both sites or do I have to have 2?

Re: Getting Started with Zen
You can use the PayPal IPN on both sites. Use the main email address for your PayPal account when you set it up..
I'm not sure about the USPS API.

I'm not sure about the USPS API.
It would make it a lot simpler since it is just one product if I could do $4.00 shipping US for the first book, $2 US for each additional book and $10 shipping int'l for the first book with $4 each additional book. Any way to do that? |
