HTML help, Please!!

I need to use the span tag with the style attribute. But my blog won't allow the style w/span.

Any suggestions?



I also tried using just the style tag.

<style>h1 {color: red}1</style>

The style tag is illegal. 

Any ideas?

Which blog program are you using?

I know span can sometimes give funky results, but I would think you could do something like this:

Hi Eclectica 

Thanks for your help! I tried your code and was 'told' that the tag, h1, may not have the attribute 'style'.

Argh....... I finally gave up and made tiny gifs for the footnote numbers. 

Now I'm going outside and getting the hell away from this computer!!!

Weird... sorry it didn't work!

Now I'm going outside and getting the hell away from this computer!!!

That is the best idea I've heard all day - I think its time for me to do the same!!

You'd probably have to define it in the template's css stylesheet.

I don't know how, and at this point, gifs will do.
