I guess getting rid of the "clutter" and "junk" doesn't matter as much if one is concerned about getting the listing numbers up.

They've been re-cluttering the UK site in the media categories this year.  It's 5p every day for items under 99p and 10p for items over 99p. eBay Germany is 5 Euro cents for the media categories...lots of clutter there if you're looking for CDs, Videos, or Books.
