OK. I'm totally dumb. Stupid. Backwards. Luckily I only posted 10 before I realized how dumb I was.

Am trying out AuctionSage for the first time, partly because I need to be able to control the start time of my auction. I thought AS was the same as SD--the scheduled listing launch was free.

NOPE. I just now realized I was being charged $0.10 per auction for scheduled listings. GEEAAAAH! I am totally stupid. How sucky!

I had no idea AuctionSage did that. I won't be using their software anymore, unless there's some kind of workaround. I think there must not be a workaround because I do believe they use the eBay scheduled launch system for each auction, whereas SD just holds the auction and launches at the time you request (thereby scheduling it without using eBay's scheduler).

Does Marketworks allow you to have free scheduled launches?

Yes, it does. One thing I don't like about MW is that they work in eastern time whereas ebay (& me) work in Pacific.

I had no idea they did that or that they used eBay's scheduled launch system. I briefly thought of trying them during one of Marketwork's frequent downtimes,. Glad I didn't.

Scheduled launches are free on Marketworks to eBay, Overstock, and Yahoo.

Crazily enough, they even advertise the ability to do scheduled listings as a "perk" for using their software.

There is an add on program for AS - LaunchFreedom. It allows you to schedule auctions.

I LOVE AS. :-) Never could get MW to work right for me, but I'm still using AS (even though I'm no longer selling on eBay) to manage my off eBay sales!

Yes, it costs extra but it's only $25 a year ($12 a quarter).
You can get AS and LF for less than $100 a year.

I see! So if the cost I would pay to schedule my listings using the regular AS outweighs the cost to add LF--then LF is a good buy.

I looked all over the site and couldn't find LF on there. Perhaps It's cause I'm still doing the free trial thing.
