It has been said that corporate America would have taken at least a year to implement this project. (Being an IT person myself, the web design alone would have taken at least 6 months). Our folks have done the entire project in a couple of months.

The main benefit for sellers is your items are included in the main store search and receive much greater exposure.  Trusted Merchant and BuySafe icons are also displayed next to your name in all regular auction search results.

Sellers need a business license, a minimum of $1000 combined monthly online sales, and a few other requirements.  You also have to join Buy Safe and undergo a credit check, provide them data on your business revenues, debts, and assets, etc

Wow! That's a lot of information to hand over. I can definately see the benefits of being included in the main site search--for sure.

However, I doubt I would pass their acceptance level in some of the other areas.
