Classifieds Search Oodle Launches Oodle Insights

Shopping with classifieds can be a long and tedious process … there’s a lot to figure out. How much should something cost? How often do deals like this pop up? Is this a scam?

With one click and without leaving the site, users can now quickly get answers to all these questions as they look at listings on Oodle.

For example with this listing we see that it a well priced deal that doesn’t come along every day. Time to jump on this one!...

This new feature will give you a bit of extra information for each listing you browse. This extra information is based on the database of classifieds listings, and will give you a point of comparison as you peruse the site. For instance, if you’re looking at a car ad, Oodle can tell you what the average price is, as well as how far above or below the current listing price is in regards to the median. That indicates that the deal you’re looking at may not come along too often, and this would be your prime opportunity to take advantage of it.

Oodle Insight can also let you know if an ad is suspicious, and may be fraudulent, based on previous ads that are similar, and have been flagged...
