Funny, I have never heard that used in RL, not even by the teenagers who hang around here. Only recently have I seen it used online, primarily in forums. Usually by those I already know are dimwits(icy for one : ). I have to conclude that some people are just sheep and go along with every fleeting trend in language as with other trends, and use language that is stupid solely because they think it makes them look "hip" or "with it" or whatever........
