Quote:the masses would finally get to express themselves.

I wish the masses would keep their expression to themselves.  Who wants to watch a video or read a blog about some dimwitted moron's adventures cooking macaroni and cheese or driving her kids to their soccer game?

Giving stupid people access to easy to use tools like blogs and video ranks as one of the greatest tragedies of the 21st century.

That's why I don't watch any reality TV shows.  I'm not interested in learning more about the daily lives of the barely literate.  ;D

The descent into the valley of stupidity began on September 21, 1970 when ABC televised the first Monday Night Football game.  The show turned semi-illiterate grunting men in tights who were obsessed with patting each other on the ass into heroes and role models.

Think how different things would be today if the ABC brass hadn't scrapped the pilot for Monday Night Scientist. :blinkie:

Amen. I think I need a thread to detail the horrible, boring, badly written blogs I see daily. Especially the "mommy" blogs, and the "personal diary" blogs. Then there are the bad recipe blogs, and the poetry blogs that couldn't put two words together if the future of their children depended upon it. Oh my God.......... BangHead
