Quote:Comodo won't issue the SSL if the whois doesn't match the SSL. And it doesn't. So, I just ordered a letter from the private registrant to be sent to Comodo to authorize the SSL.
Comodo is very strict about matching WHOIS with company info.
Well, I guess that's a good thing. I think we almost have it worked out.
Okay, I have the SSL and the trust logo
, so I'll plan to get them installed tomorrow and then back to the cart after that.
I'm tired---going to bed. Thank you Regic and Thentavius for your help today!! :turkey1:

Install the SSL then install XCart. You can add the trust logo after the cart is installed.

I'm trying. I've been trying all morning!!
Yes, I watched the video----looks very simple. Not for me, apparently.
I'm working with support on it------I may get it done sometime this year. :
The SSL is installed, but I am not too sure it's installed properly. I am going to try to install the cart now.

I checked. Your SSL certificate is for
https://domain.com (not
https://www.domain.com). When you install if it asks for an SSL url use domain.com not
www.domain.com.

Thanks, Regic. Could this be because I didn't install one of the SSL files?(because I didn't)

No, it's because you generated a csr for domain.com not
www.domain.com. SSL's are issued based on the subdomain/domain in the CSR.
Using domain.com as the secure URL instead of www shouldn't cause any problems.
