DVD RW Software Recommendations

Hey boardies,

I've had this great DVD RW now installed forever.  I bought it for backup purposes, not to watch DVD, in case anyone's wondering. 

Anyhow, I rarely use it for backup because the software it uses is rather clumsy.  I'm still using my old CD-RW that uses the awesome DirectCD software, but it won't work with my new DVD.

The question is, is there good DVD-RW software that allows the computer to see the DVD-RW as a removable drive within Windows?  Essentially, when a disc is placed in the drive, you can use it like any other hard disk on your 'puter.

Ideas anyone?
