Quote:Our traffic is up over 103% in the last 3 months. Source: Alexa.com Don't be alarmed. I tend to be analytical and I have this habit of using my little Zen Cart store as a baseline when discussing traffic stats of auction sites. I've also developed a fondness for using Sneaky's venue list when analyzing traffic stats. The two comparisons help me better understand how much traffic an auction site is receiving. Baseline comparison: Alexa traffic ranking: Zen#3 333,606 || Usiff 373,141 Compete monthly uniques: Zen#3 7,125 || Usiff 5,620 Sneaky's venue list comparison (based on Compete unique stats. I've excluded the list's fixed price and classified venues from this comparison.): Wagglepop 56,620 Plunderhere 24,856 HiBidder 7,328 Usiff 5,620 Ewaey 4,488 Wensy 3,800 YourHighBid 2,499 |

But, sellers do search for an alternative auction sites and without sellers...we will not have buyers. (More items = More sales. It's that easy) As to other search terms that have us ranked high. kw "online auctions" Google has us ranked #27 out of 9,950,000. kw "Art Mobile Wooden Steam Engine" Google #1 out of 176,000 pages. - This also was our last sale. $375 on Apr-23-08 at 10:53:29 AM PDT. and the buyer found us in Google. What I want sellers to know is... we are having sales. Buyers are finding us. And maggie777 ~ I'm going to talk to our developers this weekend and get the: site's sell-through rate. site's monthly GMV. the ASP. -- I do have a question on this one? What is ASP? I'm a little slow this late at night.... Amy, thanks... I've found out that it's really hard to get a true traffic count with these sites. For example, Google Analytics gave us a total of 9,600 visits in the last 30 days and then quantcast.com shows us at 7,928 over the same period. I guess the true test will be when our sellers start to make money. Thanks again everyone and have a great weekend. Rene USiFF Online Auctions |

Today's Update.
I'm very pleased to announce my quickest sale on USiFF! Only took 3 days! I sold my extra DirectTV Receiver. Other news, the company that we use to host our site will be taking the system down this weekend. During this down time, we are also getting some much needed upgrades. Here is the complete newsletter that went out yesterday. Well, that all for now... I'm still working on the other numbers that Amy Requested... Take Care and start selling on USiFF Online Auctions Rene |
