Choice listings Are "eBay Legal" If Ya Got The Money
Spend a minimum of $699 monthly to use Infopia, or a similarly high amount for Channel Advisor Merchant or Enterprise and you too can list endless choice auctions with eBay's full blessing. Think of the fun you'll have as your choice listings sell while your small competitor's choice listings (you know the competitor who can't afford $699 plus per month for auction management services) get pulled faster than you can say Meg's Bill's Big Thing! :twistedevil:
Infopia's Configurator: http://www.infopia.com/products/configurator.shtml Quote:Configurator for eBay Channel Advisor's Configurator: http://www.channeladvisor.com/solutions/...config.asp Quote:The product finder is ideal for sellers who have a wide ranging inventorymore than could possibly be economically listed on eBay. In this example, the buyer finds an auto part and the configurator locates it in inventory and then creates a custom eBay store listing specifically for that buyer. ...and just introduced by Infopia, yet another fun eBay approved tool to tilt the playing field in favor of the very largest sellers: The Trade-In System http://www.infopia.com/products/tradein.shtml Quote:Trade-In System

You need to give this info its own space on the Stores Board. It got lost within another thread.

Re: Choice listings Are "eBay Legal" If Ya Got The Money
It does deserve its own thread
This quote from OTWA by BigBill (former Ethical Tools employee) about the "classic configurator" part of Channel Advisor's Configurator deserves a thread too: Quote:This tool actually makes a new item # as a buyer configures what they want. you can never "win" the item that is listed.

[/quote] whatever. : http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...2000027726&tstart=0 ...and for reference purposes, here is the ever pompous Jay of PeSA addressing his concerns to a fellow PeSA member after I first mentioned the use of the CA/Infopia Configurator tools to get around eBay's choice listing policies a couple of months ago on OTWA: http://www.otwa.com/community/showpost.php?p=284192&postcount=761
