Re: Google 's GBuy Payment Service Prepares to Battle for Marketshare with PayPal
I'm at about 99% or so of payments on my website going
through our merchant account.
I've noticed too BIG time in the last several months that
very few off-ebay buyers want to pay with PayPal.  Laughing7

I agree for now... many may not want to use Google Checkout either
but I would like to have it as an option and DROP PayPal altogether.

More for personal reason than anything else.
(and the fact that very few people are using pp to pay us)

I know we should not make business decisions based on emotion but
it is the whole principal to me and how I've been treated by
ebay and it's paid shills over the years.
(They STILL follow me around and harass me everywhere I go on the net)  Thefinger

Perhaps if I drop PP altogether I can have some closure and quit trying to help
all those poor victims of PP and their SHILLS will finally leave me alone.

Maybe then I can just occasionally read a thread or two on others boards,
shake my head, and chalk up their PP  / ebay problems with their own inability
or (ignorance) to see what eBay and PayPal have really become and I can move on.  :Smile

I'll vouch for that. "xppman" often ranks among the top 25 search terms used to find TulipTools by visitors who arrive here from Google searches  Laughing4

I've noticed that too, especially on Overstock where the percentage choosing our merchant account has gone from over 80% a year ago to over 90% now.
