Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WP Public Service Announcement!!
Poppers...No matter what you decide to do about selling on WP (stay or go), PLEASE backup your listings. Problems are starting to arise and Ray doesn't handle criticism well at all. If something trips his trigger he can and will pull the plug without warning. Not trying to be nasty, but you have been warned! Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.... Snipe! I think.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Get a clue and stop misjudging people when you DON'T have the facts. Try working on your own shortcomings for once instead of jumping on what you percieve others' shortcomings to be. BTW the latest seller who left complaining of no sales never had more than a measly 14 items listed in their store. Yet another seller blaming the site for their own lack of common sense to actually LIST their items before expecting them to sell
The post by the seller of 14 items Quote:Advanced Selling: Wagglepop Stores - Good bye alll User I don't see this seller blaming WP. They thanked a wagglepop buddy, wished the sellers well, and expressed the fact that they felt they should have had a sale. They paid 9.95 to WP, which entitles them to complain. Your post about this seller could be regarded as pointing out this sellers shortcomings, and also be considered a judgment. Just like you posted don't judge without all the facts. |

user391 "BTW the latest seller who left complaining of no sales never had more than a measly 14 items listed in their store. Yet another seller blaming the site for their own lack of common sense to actually LIST their items before expecting them to sell." Me, and many (if not all) of the posters here were on WP for 5 months or more. I had listed almost 1700 items in one store and almost 1000 items in another store. During that 5 months, I made 2 sales. WHIPPEE! Yes, I did bust my butt trying to get traffic into WP, but to no avail. I paid my bills on time (before they were due) and I toed the WP Party Line. I began seeing trouble over there when posts were getting deleted for simply asking a business question. My antennae went up and I kept vigil. I was getting an uneasy feeling because I could see that Karen/Ray was making statements to boost the moral of the poppers and not doing anything to back up those promises that she/he was making. Last straw for me came when Karen/Ray told a popper to open up another paypal account so that they could pay their bill for the month. Opening up the account would have been illegal in PayPal's eyes and PP could have and would have cancelled their PP account. I closed one of my stores, then worked on moving my other store's inventory. Mind you, this was well in advance of the next bill coming due. I then had to pay an *exit* invoice so that I could close my last store. Things are not looking good on WP right now. For the poppers that are still here, it would be wise to back up your store. You may come to work one morning and the lights will be out, the door locked, and no forwarding address. WP being open and honest? Nahhhhhhhhh Not even close NOW! Totally off topic Somebody here use ZenCart? I'm looking into new hosts and I used OSCommerce with my other host. How does one populate product with Zen? I used EasyPopulate addon with OSCommerce, using Excel Spreadsheet for initial population and daily updates. Is there something like this for ZenCart? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Sorry, KaRay, but I threw one of my worthless widgets that I didn't work hard enough to market at WP up on the bay during the listing sale and already have valid bids. Oh, and I didn't bother to pay for the gallery pic or any extras.
Now if that isn't dynamic (!), I don't know what is. Quote:The similarities of Wagglepop's traffic as compared to existing industry standards is remarkably correlated. care to rethink that statement, Ray? Or how about this gem of yours: Quote:There are many market forces at work at this time of year, including the fact that the weeks leading up to the U.S. income tax due date are traditionally slow in retail. Sounds remarkably like your Christmas letdown speech. Quote:As we grow, the market will react to us, rather than the other way around. Raytard, you are shrinking, not growing. Or is that the dynamic (!) organic wagglemath you use? eBay is still laughing at you Ray...and so is everyone else
Ditto. I was on page #1 of stores with close to 2000 items listed (I think something like 18??). I did have some sales, but for the amount of time I put in to marketing and advertising? I don't spend half the time on my main biz site or my other selling site and make way more sales through my main site and closing in to the amount of sales on my other venue of choice. I don't think having a 'measly 14 items listed' should make that much of a difference? If people are going to compare to eBay... well I'm thinking on eBay in the time this person spent at WP, all 14 of her items would have sold. Now I do realize that's 'eBay think' with the amount of traffic and all, I do understand WP is set up with a whole different selling dynamic, but still - I don't even claim to really put a lot of effort into marketing my other sites and they're doing just as well if not better than I did on the many months I spent on WP. |

Oh, and by the way user391, you can stop hiding behind the sock puppet.
Why haven't you been cheerleading on the boards lately? I think the poppers need you to raise their spirits. Oh, and by the way, congrats on the increase in your traffic this month. Wishing you good luck and more traffic in the coming weeks.

I will throw my numbers into the ring. February WP sales = 20 items for a total dollar amount of $391.95 The WP sellers who sell many items every month do not give a hoot about this thread. Most of the numbers that you have so far are from the complainers and quitters rather than the sellers who are selling a lot and building for the future. FYI

Gee don't you think I would have thought of that one, pleeeeeeeeeeaaassseeee point out all these dutch auctions that have thousands of sales. From what I can see the only dutch or fixed price listings that have sales on WP sell for $0.01 for a coupon. I am so happy you responded to that post user391, I had begun to think you fled the poopland. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." P.S By the way I wasn't talking about the seller you are now talking about!!!
It isn't my job to point out every dutch auction run by every seller. The majority of my listings are dutch. It would not be possbile to accurately assess my sales by watching my store's listing count. No, you weren't talking about that particular seller, but Designers was. Yet again. It makes me very angry to see that person being attacked over and over and over again. Posters here claim that they are not against the WP sellers, but I see daily evidence to the contrary.
Interesting, so dutch auctions produced a whopping 20 sales for you last month. Get real user391, did you think you were in the WP forums and all facts were deleted? So dutch auctions are the reason for your dynamic sales? Get your facts straight!!! The alexa rank mirrors the loss of over 600 sellers. Alexa shows a 54% drop in reach in just the past 3 months. Believe what you want but the facts about WP are reflected in the alexa stats. Are we to believe the drop in alexa rank is because of the time of year rather then the loss of all those sellers? Please stop posting BS that isn't backed by facts it makes you look like a complete fool. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Auction site counts on PSU for Wagglepop has now dropped below 100,000 listings. Yes Ray keep up the BS about your dynamic growth. Face the facts Ray your dynamics are not working, probably because of the overuse of that word "dynamics" which you can't seem to post a message without using that word "dynamics". Personally I'm tired of hearing about your DYNAMIC BS, you haven't even got a clue what your talking about. You have DYNAMICS everyone to death. You seem to have a thing with words that start with a D you like DYNAMICS, you like the DELETE button and you like DESTROY as many sellers as you can, amongst a few more too numerous to mention. All your so called dynamics mean nothing Ray, we all now you don't have a clue what your doing except destroying peoples hopes and dreams. More and more people are catching on to you Ray, it's only a matter of time. I have also checked the store numbers and you are playing games again, why the hell is it so hard for you to just let the truth be told. We sit here and watch stores closing, hundreds of listings being cancelled and you still have to play your game with the numbers, based on the number of stores that have closed in the past couple of days even but as soon as that count keeps going down around the 312 and 311 mark, we magically have a couple of new dummy stores added. You are a sorry excuse for a man in your position. How long do you think you can keep up these constant lies and deceit. It's your game and your going to loose, and you have no one to blame except yourself. You certainly cannot blame the sellers after all they are doing all the work for you and what do you give them in return keep deleting posts when anyone asks a question about traffic or any business related question, lie to them about the big grand opening, lie to them about advertising, and try to dangle a carrot at them to keep them hanging on for a couple of more months so you can bleed some more money out of them. It's all going backwards everyone can see that except you, your too busy playing number games and hitting the delete key. You had a second chance to redeem yourself from the first disgrace, I would have thought you would have put 110% into making your second attempt much better than you have. Don't blame the sellers for lack of traffic, don't blame the sellers for lack of sales, it's all your fault and no one elses. YOU are the problem. Sellers are requesting long awaited enhancements to the Invoice problems, these could have been worked on long ago, now there still months away and you have the nerve to ask sellers to somehow make it work in uncovential ways. You could have been correcting these problems long ago, Invoicing is an important part of the whole package, but I guess you wouldn't know anything about that, why? because you don't have a clue what it takes to make a site work. You have dropped from 900 and some stores down to close to 300 now who pray tell is responsible for this problem Ray??
Look in the mirror you'll see who. You have totally destroyed Wagglepop to what people thought this venue would become. It's time you smartened up and did something for these poor sellers that for some god unknown reason are still there. They all deserve better than you can give them. The clock is ticking. :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: :raypoop: |

She forgets when your at WP your just a mushroom kept in the dark and can not see what is really going on. No matter how you try to explain things to some of these people, they still and probably never, will see the light. Those I do not feel sorry for. There are lots of true facts that have been posted here and there is also proof of these facts but they just don't want to believe them. We are trying to help you poopers but it appears you just don't want help, god knows you need help to see what is really going on over there. When your left sitting in the dark when the lights are turned out maybe then you'll realize that we can't all be wrong. We've all been there and seen what's happening, but you poopers think we are just a bunch of trouble makers, which is not true. You are being offered help and you don't want it so you will have to keep swallowing the garbage your being fed. |
