Quote:My numbers (both my websites and eBay) have steadily improved over the last couple weeks - just like it does every year when people start getting their tax refunds back. :ditto: except for the eBay part...I don't do eBay Quote:You could have been correcting these problems long ago, Invoicing is an important part of the whole package, I disagree with the "you [Ray] could have been correcting these problems" part because Ray/WP has nothing to do with fixing the invoicing problems and the fixes won't be made by WP's "engineering team" <- (engineering team hee hee) ...the fix will come from RScript. Unlke eBay/Overstock etc. which write their own code, boxed software user Ray is powerless to make any code changes/bug fixes and must wait for new bug fix versions of the software to be introduced by RScript (which he always takes credit for). The reliance on other people's code (unlike Etsy, Ecrater which write their own code) to power its site is one (of many) reasons Wagglepop can't be considered a true contender.

Ditto for me. My sales so far this month are double that of last month's at this time, and I don't have the time nor expertise to do any marketing. I didn't even have a usable-sized clickable siggy until yesterday morning (with the help of my furry rodent friend -- .). Explain that, KaRay! And explain why 4% of the traffic comes from countries that aren't even on WP's buyer's list! What's the point of that? In all my years on the Bay, I have yet to have a buyer in any of these countries, except for one in Turkey, who turned out to be a scammer. [/quote] Ditto for us too. February and March are some of our best months. In fact I'm doing the happy dance this morning over a LARGE order from our website. Our traffic has increased and our placement in the Google search results has gone from #41 to #10 (first page ) within the last three weeks. Makes me wonder if Ray didn't plan the "Big Grand Opening" around tax time intentionally so he could use it for an excuse.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Don't forget, the Grand Opening is sooooooooo huge, it will take 5 1/2 more months to get it all done !!

Truth, and anyone else interested, the Goodbye thread from bikini has been pulled.
Could someone who knows the ins and outs of the script KaRay is using on WP forum tell us if delete is the only option that Boinkard has? Could the posts not be moved to the correct forum? And if a thread can be moved does this mean either KaRay doesn't know how to work the software or could it be he can't be bothered to move it - or both.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Took him that long to delete it? Falling down on the job, Ray.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I'm starting to wonder if the delays in deleting posts means that Ray is starting to not care what people say because WP is on it's last legs... in other words... when you want something to succeed, you pull negative posts FAST, when you're starting not to give a crap... those negative posts live longer before being pulled...
... just an observation... We are getting hailed on, sleeted on and snowed on right now... Kids are getting early dismissal soon... :'( :'( :'( :'( So much for a nice "quiet" day in PA!! |
