Well thank you very much, a Big Member is much more important than a Founding Member and it's a lot more fun.

NOW! Totally off topic Somebody here use ZenCart? I'm looking into new hosts and I used OSCommerce with my other host. How does one populate product with Zen? I used EasyPopulate addon with OSCommerce, using Excel Spreadsheet for initial population and daily updates. Is there something like this for ZenCart?
BTDT - Sorry I missed you last night. See your PMs! Short answer for others who may want to know - Yes, Zen Cart does have an EasyPopulate addon.
Why do the poppers still "take the blame" so to speak? They've had no traffic or sales, but that's okay it's not WP's fault. They're just feeling 'slumpish'. : I'll never, ever understand it as long as I live.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Posters here claim that they are not against the WP sellers, but I see daily evidence to the contrary.
NOT everyone here regularly posts against the WP sellers. I and the majority of TT'ers on this thread only want WP sellers to be informed, not attacked. Please do not lump us together as we do not all feel that way.
Platzski, I saw you post unkindly about at least two different new WP sellers just in the last couple of days. I don't know if it's become such a habit that you don't even realize what you're doing.
Did not... I don't remember posting about anyone... I may have opinions but I do not personally attack sellers or anyone that visits this board... I thought that's what we were talking about... silly me. I guess my words got twisted... AGAIN! And I agree (I think it was Fine that said...) that I don't have a lot of respect for "business" people that don't know when to move on. Sellers that sit and wait for a sale rather than go out and drum up business (and I don't mean by spamming craigslist)... I find it hard to support people that don't support themselves. I WILL however support the once they've come to their senses. I was a WP cheerleader once too, ya know. So don't go on to tell me what to think, what to say, how to say it and how to feel. I do just fine by myself. One more post from you and you're going on my ignore list... you're boring. |

Beeswax said: Quote:I thought exactly the same thing. That seller will try and get it any way they can. I feel bad for the one moving in. Sheesh to move in over 1000 items then just have to move than out again will be exhausting. I don't think this is legitimate. That the potential seller is real. But I'm willing to hold off and play wait and see.
Sherr, we are thinking along the same lines. Definitely not your typical "popper" response.

KayRay's reply on traffic or should I say the LACK of: Quote:Hello Members,
Nope, sorry KaRay, not me. My numbers (both my websites and eBay) have steadily improved over the last couple weeks - just like it does every year when people start getting their tax refunds back. It will (if trends for my items hold) decrease again slightly the first week of April and again pick back up a couple weeks prior to Mother's Day. Your Marketing Campaign was a DISASTER - admit it already.

My sales so far this month are double that of last month's at this time, and I don't have the time nor expertise to do any marketing. I didn't even have a usable-sized clickable siggy until yesterday morning (with the help of my furry rodent friend -- .). Explain that, KaRay! And explain why 4% of the traffic comes from countries that aren't even on WP's buyer's list! What's the point of that? In all my years on the Bay, I have yet to have a buyer in any of these countries, except for one in Turkey, who turned out to be a scammer. |
