The replies on the "Conducting a survey..." thread on the WP Adv Selling forum are getting more and more discouraging - I'm surprised it still exists. This is doing nothing to back up the 9000+ sales reported for last month in the Sales Report.

JoJo
Just checked the latest posts on that thread. :blinkie: What kills me is one of the sellers in the survey thread listed only 3 sales total (this year!), BUT in the e-pet cheerleading thread they say, "I am here for the long haul!". WTF?!?! :blinkie: It's gonna be a long haul all right...uphill, against the wind in a friggin' hurricane! What is wrong with these people?
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

After all, it was the super-duper grand opening month! JoJo |

Quote:Retail traffic in general is markedly down across just about all online (and many offline) retailers, but that is the nature of selling in that it's a "cyclical" process. Long-term success means being able to recognize that and ride out the valleys and peaks and use longer-term results as your gauge. After all, it was the super-duper grand opening month! FYI: My sales to date for March in dollar amount exceed January by 26% and February by 38%. Hey, Ray |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
DB, you are totally on to something. I too thought about the fact that the pet store has been discussed here recently and voila now the seller has made an appearance, loaded the store, and all this in just days. Like sherrand says makes you go hmmmmm.
Platzki I sent you a PM, and will add all you peeps as soon as the revisions are completed by the lady I hired to help me finish up the site. I wanted to wait until then to set up my links page. I want to put your stores in categories so it is more organized. Once I am ready I will post for you to send me the link and a brief description of your store. Speaking of sales, DB that is terrific, mine have been zip on ecrater all this month. I did have a good month in February, even selling items I had on Ebay in store and core for months. That was exciting. |

OT... anyone have a PSU hosted storefront? If so... opinions? Thanks Guys!!
You can download the same Joomla/VirtueMart software they use for free and install it on any website. PSU locks many of the files so your ability to make modifications is limited. PrincessM tried VirtueMart and dumped it in favor of CRE Loaded. Read the 2 threads here to see why: http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...288.0.html VirtueMart demo here: http://demos.tuliptools.com/joomla/ |
