Quote:is the cart where I list the items I have for sale or is that where I just set up my payment options? Both. The cart is basically your entire website. Zen also has EZ_Pages which let you add extra pages to your cart (for. a FAQ etc.) Quote:Which cart do you recommend? Miranda suggested that CRE was more user friendly.I use Zen but some people prefer CRE <--that's a non answer The one big difference between Zen and CRE is that CRE has "checkout without an account." while Zen requires buyer registration. The registration occurs during checkout though and the only extra info a first time buyer needs to provide is a password.
BBH Someone on the Zen forums has recently done a mod that allows for "checkout without an account". All the reports are good so far. He's putting the finishing touches on it this week so it will work with Super Orders. Here's the thread: Checkout Without An Account Mod.

Did KaRay blame today's outage on the weather?
No, as usual it was 'upstream connectivity' issues. What a joke. I can vouch for that, as I was up, too. Like Eclectica says, most Poppers (as well as I) don't have the techie brains BBH and others here have, and would never question Ray's :lies2n: :lies2n: :lies2n: Anybody here with board access willing to give the Poppers the real scoop? Just copy and paste on every thread. Even Ray can't delete all the posts at once. |

A couple of poppers commenting on the lack of sales:
Quote:Hope sales pickup for everyone. Mine have not been bad. I'm at about 42% of what I did last year ... that's not good but I've had a lot worse so I'm not complaining ... and we do have six more days to go. Quote:Got lots of new stuff ready to list over thEre since that is where my sales are coming from nowadays - WWAAAAHHHHH but i have to do what i have to do. hope everyone is doing better than me as far as sales i'm holding out a little longer but have to do what have to do in the meantime, still have bills to pay LOL |

Quote:Basic Store Quote:Basic store here. There are a lot more comments than what I've mentioned, this is only a few. What on earth are these sellers waiting for. I'm surprised this thread hasn't been pulled by now. Well Ray you ought to read this thread, these are the real numbers , no fudged numbers like you provide. Business really stinks for these sellers. Come on poppers wake up and move on there are other venues out there that are getting great sales, what on earth are you waiting for. How can your busisness survive this way. |
