Chiquita and Platz, are you two talking about the purple text on the welcome spot? I haven't changed that yet because the template isn't fully complete - and yeah the box_heading will be fixed as well.

You could use lighter text to stand out more or lighten the background so its easier to see.

As long as my ISP holds out I will be paying close attention to WP as well. As soon as I hear the power is out in poopland I will let everyone know. Not for nothing but where Ray lives, they have been known to loose power for 3 or 4 days at a time with a storm like this.
