Update time: As soon as all of the servers get updated (hopefully by this afternoon), my website will now be hosted by TulipHosting. I already have ZenCart uploaded, and ready to install. If all goes well, it will be a busy weekend of C&P to my very own site !! Yippee !! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Thank you for remembering me
I chose my Lurker name because before I became a member, that was what I did. When I left Wagglepop it was before the censorship, etc. I thought I might go back one day if it really did become a popular place. But then a friend brought me here and I have spent alot of time reading this forum and yes....the truth was told ;D I have been at Auctionquest for a couple of months now and really think it has potential to really grow. I have been selling and some of my sales have come from people finding my items on google and signing up. Ray (good Ray) gave us googlebase which allows us to submit our own listings with just a click. That is already helping. Everywhere I go I see his logo...and of course they are always doing contests and giving prizes. That does encourage new people to sign up. They have features I have not seen elsewhere. You can actually see who is online and what they are looking at. Nice when I see people in my store. I was at blujay for quite awhile but became unhappy there since the administration appears to have disappeared and I wasn't selling anything. It made me look for another option and Auctionquests is such a better looking site and your store actually looks like a store. I was at Ecrater and always had a problem there and one day when I decided to get rid of one of my categories, all my listings disappeared. I decided that was a good thing. I never liked the idea of shopping by way of a spreadsheet and I didn't like their idea of putting together shipping charges. That's my story and the places I have been. http://www.auctionquests.com/Lauras-What...serid,shop |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hey Lurker your AQ store looks great! I signed up there when I decided to jump off the sinking WP ship but then (because it was so fast) moved most of my listings over to eCrater. I am selling at eCrater but just might give AQ another try. We are supposed to have a lot of rain here the next couple of days so I will have time.

Hey Miranda!
I like the colors on your site, the only thing is it is a bit hard to read the text over the orange. Maybe a cream color there that is complementary to the orange? Also (and Kirk probably already realizes this), the english.php file needs to be changed to get rid of BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES, etc. I LOVE your blog, very nice and clean!

You will be so happy to have your very own place where you can call the shots and don't have to give your money to anyone for "allowing" you the privilege of listing there. Best of luck!!!! We can logo swap when your up and running!! Miranda... the colors and all are fab!! It's the layout that isn't as easy to read for me. Just my 2 cents. Don't forget to put me on your link page... I have yours, I just haven't had time to do it yet... Good luck with the site.. |
