Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Congrats on everyone getting sales.
I got another sale on eCrater over the weekend. So that's 5 sales to date (2 unpaid yet - 3 paid). And I do not have to share any money with noone except PayPal (finally got my account approved for Google Checkout). Now I will reiterate - I left WP because of no sales. No talk about what WP was doing for me as a seller to bring in customers or sellers. I gave WP almost a year. And towards the end of that year period sales dried up for me. So I left. I do not badmouth WP. I am upset with WP because they made a BUNCH of promises and none have transpired. How about fixing the invoicing problems so you can send a second reminder notice? Or to combine shipping for two or more purchases after the initial invoice is sent? I have not seen any of the "advertising" WP is supposedly doing. Let Wp'ers come over and read this thread and see problems of censorship when asking WP staff about advertising in the beginning, problems with closing up their store (anyone say double billing?). People are here to share their past experiences. A lot of the members here were with WP in the beginning, giving their all to help support a new auction site. Because of a lot of people here who gave WP a chance WP is still alive today. So read away - but start at the beginning. See EVERYTHING that has gone on (even with WP1). And them make an informed decision .... That's enough of my rant for the morning ..... ~Patti~ |

Quote:I am upset with WP because they made a BUNCH of promises and none have transpired This is a delicate way of saying Ray is a liar. Quote:Let Wp'ers come over and read this thread and see problems of censorship when asking WP staff about advertising in the beginning, problems with closing up their store (anyone say double billing?). Amen. It was the censorship and hypocrisy that made me leave. Quote:A lot of the members here were with WP in the beginning, giving their all to help support a new auction site. Because of a lot of people here who gave WP a chance WP is still alive today. So true. This thread is largely populated by X-Poppers who worked their butts off in an attempt to make a go of Ray's pathetic excuse for an auction site. Ray strung them along for months, dangling carrots of wishful thinking based on smoke and mirrors and some dopey revolution mantra so they could feel "special". Some of WP's once most outspoken cheerleaders are now posting here. Ray, PS and the rest of you Koolaid-drugged Poppers should be kissing their feet instead of calling them losers and quitters with "lives of either disappointment or underachievement." |

Hi everyone. Yep, I've finally made it over here as a member. I'm glad to see so many X-POPPERS doing well for themselves. I also see a lot of familiar faces here too so I felt that it was time for me to be here too. I hope that's ok.

Bric. So what happened with you? You were a BIG, and I mean BIG, throw-those-pompoms-12-feet-in-the-air-and-do-three-back-flips-in-succession CHEERLEADER. Did you come to the conclusion that you can't feed and clothe your family with ? |
