Quote:vpagrading.com which stands for vintage paper grading. He's owned that domain longer than he's owned the wagglepop domains. Before WP1 opened and after WP1 closed he had both the wagglepop.com and wagglepopauctions.com domain names parked on that site.

Sigh. I did not say that you HAVE to load the auctions on ebay to use turbo lister. I was saying that, for example, to answer your question, one of the many things that Ray could use that store and those listings for would be to try the process of moving those listings from the eBay store into Turbo Lister and then upload them into a WP store (as many potential WP sellers would want to do) to see how simple the process is, how long it takes to do X number of listings, etc. It is his choice of course whether or not he wants to sell goods on WP and/or any other site, and nobody here knows whether or not he already is or will at some time in the future.
bolding mine... That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Duh!! He already IS selling on another site. I saw it with my own two eyes, as did anyone else who saw Truth's post when he reported it. Not only is he listing...he's adding items daily. Now granted...I checked and he hasn't actually SOLD anything yet. Oh yeah....that's research. Alrighty then. Once again User, why should anyone here believe anything you say or place any value on your opinion when you choose to hide behind a sock puppet ID. You want us to listen to what you have to say? Act like a real man and come out in the open. Otherwise just
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Oh, wait he does nothing to the site to bring buyers, he knows damn well his stuff won't sell on WP. He is just taking all you suckers for a ride while he lines his pockets with your cash. I am done, I have moved on and am doing much better on free sites! If you want to continue to be robbed blind by him then by all means go ahead. Ta Ta! |

This is an example of another assumption which is par for the course around here. I did appreciate your post earlier today though, Rat, where you requested that DB at least get her facts straight if she insists on posting. |

A site's existence doesn't mean the owner still believes it's a viable site.

A site's existence doesn't mean the owner still believes it's a viable site.
User this is true just because WP is still there does not mean he believes in it. I don't think he believes in it. I think that's why he has taken away so much from WP lately such as most of the community boards, sales reports and newsletter. Didn't you find it funny that he had the same newsletter posted for months a while back? I think he knew back then the cause was lost either that or he didn't care. Like it's been said before in this thread Ray has had WP on auto pilot he's just out to make whatever money he can. He knows WP will not amount to anything I think he took all those things away so he would have less work to do so that he could concentrate on what he's going to do next. That's the sad part he knows the ship is sinking he knew that a while back but the sellers still there don't see it. Doesn't it bother you that you are getting less for your money and are being kept in the dark about sales and so on more than you were a year ago? If he truely believed in his site you would see him making some kind of effort I don't see that do you? There are many things he could do to promote that site that would cost nothing or very little but he isn't even doing that. There are free sites where I see more effort being made to promote them. If I'm not mistaken he has only addressed the sellers there himself one time in the newsletter don't you ask your self why? Also what about the emails that have come from WP to sellers that are rude and un-business like. Doesn't that bother you to be associated with a site that does that? Is Ray thinking of the future of WP or your future conducting business like that? I don't think so. Contrary to what WP would have you believe all sellers who left were not non paying. They paid their final bill they asked for the store to be closed in return they received an email back which contained name calling and so on in it. I know this happened. There could be many reasons why a seller has to close and maybe that seller would think of returning someday. But do you think that seller is going to return after getting a response like that? No never. How can you expect to build a site doing things like this. There are many sellers who left ebay upset with them over fees but some of them are back there selling why? Because ebay was not rude in an email to them when they closed their store. Yes they may have got a canned response but at least it was polite. To me there is no way to justify these things but I'm sure if you respond you will try to find a way to do that. As it seems you just can't see the truth. |
