Sherry,
Thanks so much for that final update! Made me feel good to see one of those names especially has left. You WILL be sorely missed here too! How you've done what you've done all this time is amazing to me - don't think too many would have even attempted to try and keep track of all that! So thank you very much for all you're efforts! Enjoy! Sarah |

That brings the WP store status current as of this morning. This will be the last store update provided by me. I mentioned weeks ago I would be moving on and it is time to honour that statement. So many of us have bonded over the months, formed friendships, supported each other, helped and encouraged each other. We have all expressed so many emotions that were received with understanding, testimonials acknowledged as eerily familiar to our own and substantiated facts presented here. I felt so confident that a bond of mutual respect had been established amongst us all. But the last few pages on this thread have displayed some serious cracks in this belief. Never, in the 1000 + pages composed in this thread has there been the tone expressed that has been recently witnessed. IMHO it is inappropriate and it is wrong. No one individual poster owns this thread. No one individual poster should dictate what can or can't be expressed here. I would hope that, moving forward, if someone takes issue with the words expressed by a TTer, that they perpetuate the respect they claim to possess and take it up privately with them. So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish... [/quote] As usual you've done a great store update report! And I see that the count has increased by 2 since earlier today. Sigh... Bolding is mine... I agree! Nicely said and put Sherrand! Your way with words will be missed!!!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Great idea changing the thread name. If that doesn't get their attention what can? 2 featured stores left Shouldn't a light come on in their loyalist heads?? I still list on the E in core and it isn't hard to find his store, even tho he changes his ID every few months. Thanks to you I found Plunderhere-I love that site-had 2 sales this week and I'm so new. They show the views on every item you're selling so you know what is sparking buyers interest. This is a free site that feeds to Froogle and Google plus several other search engines. I am computdah :-[and the help I have received from the sellers is above and beyond anything I've experienced. The welcoming thread had me ID'd and welcomed before I realized they were aware of my listings going up. They brought my feedback score from other auction sites and it continues as I sell on PH Point is, why would I continue struggling on WP, paying fees for nothing, when there are so many other choices? I did that on Ebay. Wake up Poppers-his hand is on the plug

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Sherrand sorry to see you go we will miss your reports. It's amazing how you kept track of everything. But really I can see your point with only 169 stores left pretty soon there would not be much to report anyway. Sad to say some of the sellers there now refuse to see what's happening around them and will most likely still be there when the door gets slammed in their face.
This is a good one had to share. I found this on the New to WP board. A question from someone who is thinking of selling there. Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 28 Jul 2007 22:17 and the response from one of the head chearleaders Quote:xxx 29 Jul 2007 01:56 What she fails to tell this person is that yes there is a link that says sales reports on that page but when you click on it there is NOTHING there I think that there are some sellers there that are starting to see the light and have maybe listened to some of what has been said in this thread. The same cheerleader who responded above posted that some of the sellers there have contacted her to help them set up a website. Of course in her post she said she could not help them with that and discouraged them from doing a website stating that they are better off selling on WP. |
