It won't be long before Ray has way more listings than there are WP stores. Especially if Ray continues his listing. Invoices went out on the 10th once this invoicing period is over the store count will most likely go lower. For at least the last few months the store count has dropped by 20 or so stores each time. I figure if the trend continues they should be left with about 140-150 stores.

He does absolutely nothing to earn it and his WP expenses are hardly worth mentioning. Loyalists are fronting his eBay store, and apart from PS and maybe a couple others who lurk here, I doubt the majority of Poppers have a clue. Those that know and still stand behind their leader are Koolaid-drugged fools too proud to admit Ray is gleefully squeezing every last dime out of them for as long as they will allow him. Edit: Not sure, but I believe the new store added is a resurrected ghost. I don't recall seeing this one for a while and the item for sale is a WP logo link ad to a web site. If you check the seller's FB, you'll notice that the previous buyers for this "ad" service are no longer on WP. Gee, if the link works to bring traffic and sales, I wonder why they left? |

He officially has more listings than there are stores on WP! Glad you guys are paying his fees otherwise those collectors would be sad.
Stores - 167 It will be interesting to see how many stores still try to stick around to the supposed "holiday" shopping. Even though sales have been up online they certainly aren't for WP. Mmmm, would I want to jump through hoops and give out my phone number for something I can probably get cheaper on Ebay or somewhere else? Ummmm, nope. |

Invoices due the 20th, time for the monthly
Quote:wagglepopCC2 15 Aug 2007 12:29bolding mine "This is business?" -- give me a frickin' break. "Committed buyers and sellers?" Committed to WHAT? Abuse, a site that doesn't work, no sales, no advertising and a waste of time? "Outstanding" search engine exposure? Oh, yeah, prove it! And now for the Popper replies: Quote:XXX 15 Aug 2007 12:43 _________________ Quote:_________________ And AndRay more response: Quote:wagglepopCC2 15 Aug 2007 15:22 Translation: Forget it. You won't get any ANY information on WP's business. Boo, hoo, we'll all blame it on those who left and took their $10/mo with them. What we will do is blame you for not filling the holes, but won't give you any info on what those holes are, probably because we're just guessing based on our own search from the basement office. If you want any information on what buyers want, go to eBay. OH, NO, ANOTHER REAL QUESTION? Quote:XXX 15 Aug 2007 15:32 And more and finger pointing from AndRay: Quote:wagglepopCC2 15 Aug 2007 15:40 Translation: Incentive, like what? A free month's store subscription, or something? Hell, no, we want to bleed sellers from day one. Why can't sellers understand that, especially whose shamefull miscreants who joined WP expecting something in return, like sales, traffic or anything else a seller might expect when he/she PAYS to be part of an auction venue? They should have been gleefully sending us their monthly dues for nothing over the last 18 months. "Ebay is a wholly unique marketplace, difficult if not impossible to duplicate". I guess, that's why Ray sells there instead of HIS OWN POOR EXCUSE FOR AN AUCTION VENUE. And, hey wait, didn't you just tell us that WP is the best "on-line alternative to eBay?" At least be consistent with your B-frikin' S! |
