Quote:So, if you can say 70% of keyword searches resulted in zero, why can't you just post that research you did on the forum? That's just what it is invoices are due. I agree if he can tell them that 70% of keyword searches result in zero then he could probably tell them some of the keywords. All that talk about not having money to do it is just BS. The truth is he is just to busy listing in his ebay store to post a list of keywords searches for them.
Hey, PS, as long as we have you on the line, answer these questions: 1) Why is it not a problem for your divine leader to go back to eBay to make a living, while many of the sellers on WP who did exactly the same thing were blamed for being impatient, hysterical, not understanding the big picture, miscreants and trolls? 2) How do you feel about Ray (who hates eBay and claimed he broke all ties with eBay) using your monthly store fees to foot his eBay store? Wouldn't the Poppers be better served by having the $$ he's handing over to Meg and Bill put back into WP in the form of site enhancements and advertising? 3) Does it bother you at all that while AndRay is bragging about WP being the best eBay alternative that the CEO himself wouldn't dream of selling his own wares there, because he knows traffic sucks and there are no buyers? Isn't that kind of like Michael Dell outfitting all his staff and family with HP computers because they work better, last longer, have more options and cost less? 4) In short, don't you think your divine leader is a hypocrite?
DB good questions. I'd like to hear PS answer. I think he is a hypocrite. If I were still at WP this would make me very upset. He says they need more sellers at WP yet he chooses to list on another site. |
Very good questions DB, but I am sure you will never get an answer. If so this would probably be the answers: 1. - How do you know he doesn't sell on WP?? You guys were just blamed because you were rude and didn't pay your bill. 2. - He's not using our monthly fees. He is being smart by adding his products to mulitple sites.....We don't have enough products on WP to really waste the money on any advertising or upgrades. (mmm, maybe attract more SELLERS by advertising???) 3. Once again, how do you know he isn't selling on WP?? No it isn't like Michael Dell, he is just doing research to make WP a better place. 4. No he is not a hypocrite, we look up to him and his community. He just makes us warm and fuzzy. Yeah, I am glad I got booted. My sales have picked up, I do not have to pay any FVF, and I don't have to make myself sick over the fact that I belong to a community whose leader is taking my money, doing no form of advertisement and is selling on the site that everyone complains about. Get your own website and work on link exchanges, SEO and all those other marketing techniques to your own domain for goodness sakes!! He is a hypocrite. |

I'm telling you he feels so powerful that he can fool all the cheerleaders . They are a laugh a minute for him and they give him money to do whatever he wants :couch: Just relaxing waiting for that invoice money to come rolling in on time cause the chair is empty and he's off giving their money to What a life-but it won't last forever. The wheel turns slowly but it turns, boy am I glad I'm Well, back to watching the ship sink :popcorn2:

Are you making money selling WP's US sellers' personal information to "third party partners" in these countries? Why else have over 1/4 of your traffic coming from countries that cannot buy or sell on WP? Oh, wait, is THAT the great "search engine exposure" AndRay was bragging about? By the way, PS. I see you crawled back into your crib with your blankie to hide from the truth. You and dear Mr. User have too much in common to be coincidence. BBH: Shopify looks mighty interesting. What would be the advantage to setting up shop on Shopify as opposed to Ecrater? And Ray. I was wondering if you were planning to use the money you're making selling your overpriced ads on eBay to upgrade WP and do some advertising for your sellers. Wouldn't that be fair, considering it was their store fees that paid for your eBay store and listings in the first place, which you chose to divert without their consent. Great job, Ray, you :asshat2: |

Oh, yeah, prove it!
Do a Yahoo search for "baby nursery boutique". My Wagglepop store is ranked #2 out of 953,000. My eBay store of the identical name which has been in business 4 times longer is ranked down at #10.
That would be nice...if people were searching on the term "baby nursery boutique"
People are searching on the term "baby nursery boutique". I know this because I often see visitors via my sitemeter who came as a result of that exact search. I am just now beginning to scratch the surface of targeting specific keywords to optimize my store for.
PS, did it ever occur to you that you yourself are doing this search to see where "baby nursery boutique" stands in the page and then YOU are clicking on your own store link which gives your counter a hit? DUH! And then you brag on it and some other Wagglepooper does the same thing and then clicks on your store link... NOT POTENTIAL BUYERS - not enough of them to give you any real exposure. Dream on honey...
Honestly DB, I would probably say yes. Only as my husband, who is barely ever on the computer, doesn't make purchases online (makes me do it), doesn't even have a Paypal account, started receiving spam and phishing emails directly after he signed up on WP. It really was way to coincidental, that I fully believe it had something to do with him signing up for WP. The guy has censored posts, read personal pm messages, makes people feel guilty if they close their stores (saying you cannot have the same store name/user name etc.), and milks them for every penny he can get. So, I wouldn't put it past him. |

Quote:BBH: Shopify looks mighty interesting. What would be the advantage to setting up shop on Shopify as opposed to Ecrater? The advantage is Shopify stores are individual websites, you can use your own domain name, and their stores have more features and are much more customizable than Ecrater stores. Shopify's huge negative is the FVF fee on sales. If your sales are more than a few hundred you'll end up paying more than you would for other hosted carts that have more features. me Wrote:Another way of looking at Shopify's "free stores":

Quote:Quote from: me BBH: Maybe I'm missing something. From what I can gather, Shopify stores aren't "free," unless you have the "trial" membership, which only allows space for 10 items and after 5 orders, the seller has to pick a monthly plan. https://app.shopify.com/services/signup check the link, and correct me if I've misunderstood. I'm also confused about Monster. I understood the monthly plan to be $99.95/mo with a $99 set up fee. How are you figuring the costs? See link: http://monstermarketplace.com/mcshopping...ePage.html |

Quote:Maybe I'm missing something. Quote:'m also confused about Monster. I understood the monthly plan to be $99.95/mo with a $99 set up fee. How are you figuring the costs? They also have a $49 standard version but it's limited to 300 items http://www.monstercommerce.com/shopping_...s_menu.asp
