None of this is a NORMAL way to do business. Same thing with this new software. If someone does not pay, boot them. How hard is that to keep track of? Or is the software going to be tracking other things as well? I would want to know just what those things are.

EXCELLENT POINTS, Cranky. Add two and two. Why would Ray/Karen announce the installation of software to track who's paying and who's not when members were already getting the boot without warning back in August for being one day late on their monthly payment? Does that make sense? I submit the "new" software is not just about monitoring delinquent accounts. I, for one, paid all my invoices ahead of the due date and was a paying member in good standing but am not even allowed to purchase items on the site because I had the audacity to question what WP was giving me for $10/mo that a dozen other sites couldn't give me as a seller for free. And then AFTER my account was suspended, I received another invoice. OK, so I'm no Rhodes scholar, but these dots do no connect.

It's a public service that more cynical folks have exposed him for the dishonest individual that he is, at least to give innocent followers an educated choice.

This statement is very true. The greatest injustice that Ray has created is presenting his site as legitimate, and simultaneously witholding valuable information from both current and potential sellers. Without having access to all the facts it is difficult for anyone to make an informed business decision. TT has provided the missing data.

To Ladyrock, you have free will including any and all choices that you make regarding your business, as do all of us who have posted here. I am confused as to why you have returned to TT, because my recollection of your prior posts indicated to me that you read what everyone had to say, and decided to either ignore it or not believe it and stayed at WP. Confused5

I cannot tell from your current posts if you are defending WP or defending your decision to remain on WP. Either way it really shouldn't matter to you what others think.

The one question that should always come first in deciding whether to do business with anyone is to take a long look at their ethical practices and standards. If there is a history of deceit and lying, manipulation and coercion is that someone you want to conduct business with?

Very well put. Very insightful and calm.

Lately I've been kind of getting away form the more diplomatic approach I usually have on the boards. I need to take advice from Chiquita as well.

Thentavius,
Thank You for your kind words. You are very much a diplomat. It is understandable that all of us can speak with passion especially when we have strong feelings about certain things.

Now if you start talking about Bush or Ebay, the gloves are off, I cannot be held responsible for any comments that  would be made.
Laughing7

In regards to Ray's latest postings, I have to say that is the strangest reply I have seen by any CS person. Can you imagine if a pink were to post that on any board what the reaction would be? I guarantee it wouldn't be pick me, pick me.

Ray has now redefined NARU'd.  :blinkie:

Xp, you forgot to say (Chiquita, none of this is at all directed towards you, so please don't take offense)  that they're frickin BORING. And, that all the REPETITION is BORING!!!

Sometimes, passion is more effective than diplomacy.  Wink

It's bizarre, to say the least. Very weird.

The fact that Ray twists the truth and has an unstable is what keeps me posting to this thread. On one hand, I don't feel sorry for the people who walk into this web--and on the other, I do.

The definition of trust has been extended to include collection agencies.  Happy001

Quote:This process will be eliminating any and all sellers for whom the conditions of the User Agreement are unclear.

Sadly, the trust and responsibility we give for some is simply uncomfortable territory, and we will be closing the accounts and referring the delinquencies to our new collections contractor.

It's a valuable and necessary period of change as we need to determine who is serious about the opportunity that Wagglepop represents, so that we may present a seller body to the buying public that will perform to the standards that we require.

For those who remain, and those who join us and understand the responsibility that comes with basic trust, the rewards will be many.

It's nearing the time that we take everything to the next level, and for those for whom trust was too much to ask, time has run out Smile
