sneaky Wrote:ray Wrote:It is rather obvious to me at this point that third-party vendors are not going to support sites outside of eBay ...and I've used Marketworks to list on Overstock and Yahoo. I've used Fillz to list on Amazon, Gemm, and Alibris (they support about a dozen non-eBay sites). There are even Zen Cart mods that support listing on Amazon, eBid, and ePier. Third party software vendor support is a 2-way street you dumb fuck. If you don't provide them with an API (which you have made no effort to do) it is next to impossible for them to support your venue (never mind the fact that your paltry 58,000 uniques wouldn't generate enough income for any vendor to recoup their development costs).

It's news to me too. ChannelAdvisor Merchant supported sites outside of eBaY when I used it.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
So I guess this latest revelation from the grand puppet master of WP is the reason why PS has been all over the threads on PSU spouting off about WP and what a great place it is to sell. How she is making a bazillion dollars or so over there in popperland.
It all becomes clear |

Quote:the reason why PS has been all over the threads on PSU spouting off about WP and what a great place it is to sell. How she is making a bazillion dollars or so over there in popperland. If you break Ray's 58,000 uniques figure down further you can see what a great place WP is to sell... 58,000 uniques/200 sellers= 290 monthly visitors per seller multiply those 290 visitors by the ecommerce average conversion rate of 2.3% (source: http://www.conversionchronicles.com/page.php?PageID=41&tracking=website_conversion_avarages_right) and you get... The average WP seller has 6 or 7 buyers per month! Whoo Hoo! You can definitely make a fortune with 6 or 7 monthly buyers...NOT. note to Ray: don't start spitting out stats if you don't want your BS to be analyzed and exposed for the total bs that it is. .

Alrighty then, I've been reading this for a while now, and quite frankly, I'd like to say something.
Do you people really have nothing better to do than bash some people who are trying to make something? Even a small profit? I mean really, sitting on your behinds all day long spouting rude and biased comments to make yourselves feel better...it's pretty damn low. Have a little decency at least and save some face, if you still have any left. |

You were an asshole yesterday. You're an asshole tonight. And I've got a feelin' you'll be an asshole the rest of your life. And I was talkin' to your mother just the other night. I told her I thought you were an asshole. She said, "Yes. I think you're right." And all your friends are assholes 'cause you've known them your whole life. When your store has been open for months and your sales have not even met the store fees, you'll learn. When you are asking why Direct Payment is not available through any method, and you are warned, you'll learn. When you ask why AndRay does nothing to bring more buyers, and you get warned again, you'll learn. When you realize you are paying $10 a month, when you are the only one advertising, you'll learn. When you ask what the benefit of a $10 a month store is, when you could just advertise yourself on your own website for less, and your account is closed, you'll really learn. Good luck, you'll need it.
