Quote:All I did was ask for help closing my store. Why was the topic removed? That's just wrong. I've had NO sales and very few views -- am I not allowed to discuss that, or what?

Quote:The reply:I had mailed you the account closure procedure in response to your Customer Care email query about 5 minutes prior, so I thought the post was redundant on based on that. It should already be in your mailbox.

No conspiracy LOL, just trying to get you the help you needed as quickly as possible Smile

Yup still deleting away. Must be part of the new "trust" laws.  :poopbanaana:

Most of us can't read the posts, anyway, without registering. And that ain't gonna happen.

Ditto this.

I actually did register...just to send an email to tell the jerk just exactly what was wrong with WP, why it'll never fly and tell him he was a right old sh*thead for even thinking he could pull that stunt again without being called on it.<< [/quote]

I'm curious, can you still get in over there, or did His Royal High@$$ delete your account?

Maybe the new "account software" includes a programmable feature that recognizes anything other than sugar-coated posts and automatically deletes them. Pope Ray's definition of what constitutes, a "courteous, respectful, constructive" post is getting narrower that his butt crack.

Ray's "delete non-believer's account" button must be stuck. 37 stores closed in the last 6 hours.

mid-September 939 stores
10/25: 769 stores

170 closed stores--nearly 20%.

The Big Question from the Selling board!
Quote: TPI2005  26 Oct 2006 03:16

I am just curious how many actual sales are taking place here and are just not means to pad feedback ratings. This is where having the same FB system that is used over there would be beneficial. I just saw 3 sellers here who all have alot of feedback, but when you dig into their feedback 80% it is from each other. You will have a string of 10 FB where one is the buyer then suddenly become the seller this goes on for several pages of their feedback.

I have seen the "sales reports" but I would actually like to see completed auctions as the feedback thing I noticed will defintly screw up the sales reports for the site.

Does WP have any plans to fix this?? I found this in about 10 minutes of looking at one seller. There is no way that can inspire buyer confidence in the sellers here. Without buyers you do not have a product.

Do you see any sugar missing in persons Kool-Aid? They must have noticed theirs was the sugar free variety and got a bitter taste in their mouth.

The light is starting to shine...and the store counts drop....
