RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Remember this???

Quote:Hello Members,

The new Sales Report is now available for the weekly reporting period from 10/23 to 10/29.

Overall sales dipped very slightly to 1762 from 1812 one week prior, breaking our record streak of 16 straight weeks with an increase, which stills puts us considerably ahead of all projections.

We went four months before a week-to-week dip in the growth curve, which is just remarkable.

The overall trend continues to be one of explosive growth, and we anticipate that will continue through the holiday season Smile

Karen - WP Customer Care

A Few responses...
Quote:That is still a fantastic number! I think the growth has been amazing.
We are sure to move forward with an upward trend

Quote:that is still absolutely WONDERFUL! that is just normal - i'm truly AMAZED with wagglepop and how it is growing each and every day - we're POPPIN all the way Smile

Quote:Hello Members,

Excellent observations Smile

I'm hoping it's become obvious to all that we indeed do have both a short-term and long-term "plan", and much of it has worked incredibly well to this point already.

1500-1800 sales per week on any site less than 6 months old is just amazing; there's no other way to say it.

"Advertising" is an overused and misunderstood term when it comes to building interest and a brand. What is really needed is to be able to effectively create an organic "need" based on a timely product or service, and once that "need" builds to a high enough level on it's own, then conventionally market that.

Advertising does not create a need or brand, it only reinforces one.

Look at the weekly Sales Reports, and project that out over the next 12-24 months. Mix in a little unconventional and conventional marketing, and we firmly believe we'll have established both our brand and reputation, and we'll be able to move ahead from there.

There are no shortcuts to building a business, and Wagglepop is no exception.

We are working as hard as we possibly can to help make Wagglepop everything it can be Smile

Karen/Ray's quote where she jumped in after the struggling single mother's post and made a comment about overdue accounts was unbelievable.

The faith the poppers show in what Scott Booger says is unbelievable too.  :Smile

Quote:Translation: If you're not selling anything, it's because your a lazy F*#K and it's your fault. Note that Scott has a whopping 9 FBs, all from other WP store sellers.

Note that according to the WP newsletter Scott had practically no online selling experience prior to WP and yet the cheerleaders accept him as an expert and ignore the advice of "naysayer" WP sellers with 1000s of online sales like Alskling.

Ever notice how WP never mentions membership numbers and focuses on listings?  WP's roughly 7,000 members is way below ePier's 100,000 or Bidville's 900,000 (or eBay's 200 million).  The ratio of items to members is 20:1 on WP, on ePier (counting stores items there are 350K listed) it is 3.5:1,  it is 1.1:1 on BV , and on eBay (counting eBay Stores items, using 50 million as the total items) it is 0.25:1.

Well, looking at that on a positive note, maybe it helped to open some more eyes there.
It does blatantly spell out exactly what type of human being they are dealing with.

Gotta do it....

Quote:I searched Google using online auction as the search term. Many auction sites came up but not WP. Why wouldn't it show up in that search? I was surprised. Potential buyers are not being directed here thru that search anyway.

Quote:Are your WP items showing up on google? I don't think that mine are. When I checked several months ago, it was easy to find some of my items, but I don't believe that they are there anymore

I place my bet on January 30th. Calculations being:
Billing date January 10th to be paid by January 18th. (For a December with no sales). No one pays.
Reminder sent January 20th to be paid by January 25th..no one pays.
Final reminder sent January 26th with a threat of cancelation. (No sales because you don't how to run an online business...not WP fault). No one pays.
Ray/Karen figuires out the last payment on the luxury car is paid...So  Wave
