I actually think it's the other end of the anatomy. But I could be wrong.

No, it can't be. Can it? He wouldn't have that here, would he?    Icon_scratch

O Romeo, you are too funny (in a good way!!). It just shows you have a kindly, clean mind, and I have a foul one. LOL. Your questions are not stupid.

To be honest--I thought it was a guy behind a couch at first.

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I was doing some digging and found an old post by Ray from OTWA. This was during WP1. A poster had listed criticisms of the WP1 site and this is Ray's response.

Quote:Good Morning!

Do I hear some hecklers in the crowd?

If Wagglepop is not an enterprise you agree with or want to be a part of, that is certainly okay with me......it is difficult to be all things to all people.

I put a tremendous amount of research into this project, and where hard decisions had to be made, I made them.

I expected the type of harsh criticisms that eBay, and all similar auction sites, receive, but not quite this early in the process.

It seems everything about an auction site is a coin, with two sides, that people feel strongly about.....no one is on 'the edge'.....

CC verification? Don't you think it's time for something....anything...to be done about the NPB's, fraud, and just general 'playground' atmosphere over at eBay?

A CC verification might at least slow down the casual scammers...

Buyer CC verification? That's not asking much, just a simple AVS CC verification that let's you bid and buy, forver, with complete freedom.

Some policies you'll like, some you'll hate, but there need to be policies. I'm willing to take the bullet on that, since ultimatley it's my decision, my dime, and my responsibilty, but I'd hope you'd be able to look at the 'bigger picture', and see what it is I'm really offering.

Perhaps the fee structure is a good thing?

Think 'inside the box', and compare it to eBay, and Wagglepop will seem disjointed and incongrous.

Think 'outside the box', and take the time to read through the discussions over at FAS, and I'm confident Wagglepop will seem what I am touting:

The Smarter Way to Buy and Sell.

I hope to see you there, but if not, I wish you only success and prosperity in all of your future endeavors.

I'll likely strictly be over at FAS until launch, so if you have any questions, you can find me over there!

All the Best,

Ray

And another post directed to Ray

Quote:I am NOT heckling you, I am making a legitimate statment as is Snakey..........

if you want Kudos and "wow you did a nice job"......." cool site" and all that, go back to your other board where everyone is kissing your butt.

around here, we call it as we see it and are real about it, believe it or not, this is the stuff that will help your business not your ego. If you want ego petting go back where you came from.

We are realists, we truly want you to succeeed, but you are a one man show ( or a few)and snakey and everyone else is just showing you the other side of the coin, somethings are not visible from up close especially when you own the project, your judgement is biased, plain and simple, and so it should be, you would not be doing this if you didn't love it. You have lots of friends on your other board, we aren't here to be yor friends, we are here to help you make your auction site the very best it can be.

snakey put a lot of effort into his research and his post, snakey doesn't give a Rat's Azz about your business yet look at the well written post he made, yes it is criticism, but dude, there is no room for emotion in business, you should maybe hang your ego at the door when you come in here.

Yep. Ray did very well on OTWA. NOT.

They tried like hell to assist the man and the best he could come up with was to take his toys and go home...a couple of times, if I remember right.  Happy001

Here is another post which quotes what Ray said on FAS about OTWA, and includes a response by a OTWA poster.

Quote:
Quote:Did you ever wonder where it is all the 'know-it-all', insulting, jerky, eBayers hang out?

I know now, it's over at OTWA.
Ray, we were trying to help you and WagglePop succeed by offering suggestions- we didn't want to see your new site fail. However, after witnessing your unprofessional reaction to this thread and seeing your hatred rear it's ugly head on the one you started elsewhere, I'm afraid it doesn't have a ghost of a chance.
Quote:I'm actually glad now it's turned out the way it has over there.

Those are all the overblown, antagonistic people who've made ebay the slaughterhouse it's become.

Good. Stay there.

Because frankly, you're not good enough for Wagglepop.

Spend all day and night pounding on us, while we actually accomplish the very things you mock.

I used to think OTWA was a productive, important web meeting place......

Now I see it for what it is:

A private club, for angry, sour, negative people.

Please stay there, and continue to dazzle each other with tales of wisdom and might.......

Wagglepop?

I sincerely hope you never darken our doorway.

Ray
And this spewing comes from the CEO of a service oriented startup company. My God!!

Ray....FYI, Jim knows a bit about SEO as well. Everyone can see you in all your petty ego inflated glory because this thread has been indexed on Google since day one.

Ha ha, hypocrisy is thy name, Ray Romeo! Happy001

Some of Ray's truly nasty, sour, angry negative remarks remain on the ebay boards. At least they were still there a few months ago. :twistedevil:
