From the How to Buy Page at WP:

Quote:Tell your friends and family
With a hardworking and dedicated seller base, your transaction should go just fine. Now go tell everyone you know!
Nothing will grow Wagglepop bigger and stronger than good old fashioned word of mouth. And as Wagglepop grows, more and more of the items and products you want will be listed and available. Sellers will sell more. Buyers will get more.

It's all up to you.

Why in the world would it all be up to the buyer?!?

I never read the page before because I know how to buy (much to the dismay of DH).  It is on the home page and it tells you how to search, etc.  I just wish all the buyers would read this first!

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Let's analyze the last two posts:

"They can't buy it if they can't see it.
Karen -- WP CC"

TRANSLATION: If you sellers aren't making sales it's your own fault for listing items buyers don't want, cost too much, or you simply haven't worked hard enough to put enough listings in your store. Now go feel bad.

"Rather than complain about Wagglepop not having xbox games or consoles, look to see what you can do to change that.
Popland reply"

TRANSLATION: If our stupid sellers have listed items you don't want or are too lazy to bother listing the item you do want, or the item you wants costs too much on our site, then get off your lazy ass and  become a seller and list that item or go out to the Community forum and beg them to go out and find it for you. Now, go feel bad.

IN CONCLUSION: Buyers and sellers are soley to blame for the lack of business -- K/R take no responsibility whatsoever, but they will gladly take whatever money they can from you for the privilege of taking all the blame.

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:For the week ending 11/19, we recorded 1376 sales, down slightly from 1570 one week prior, likely due to increased competition both online and offline during this holiday season. The month-to-month sales increase since May has been incredible, and we anticipate that trend will continue through the remainder of 2006 and into 2007. With holiday competition in "full swing", be sure to work as hard as possible for the attention of your potential customers, and deliver quality across the board.

If you take 4 weeks in October and 3 from november he needs 2002 sales in this weeks sales report. Don't look like that will happen! I wonder how he will explain that one.

Alskling, I just read the last two pages of this thread, and I completely agree with your translations. But I thought I should clear something up.

Quote:SirBuysAlot, rather than complain about Wagglepop not having xbox games or consoles, look to see what you can do to change that.

This wasn't said by KaRay, it was said by a seller on Pop Land.

Just to clarify (because I think I'm the one who originally brought this post over) - Karen did NOT make this statement. It was one of the sellers over there. No matter who said it, its ridiculous and as Thentavius said probably the dumbest thing ever said  Violent1

I just don't want Karen or any KoolAid delusionals pointing to us saying - See? They lie and twist the truth for their own agenda. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that with my original post!

Race & Eclectica -- So noted. Sorry about that. For all we know, half the cheerleaders could be K/R alter egos anyway.
Edited: but now that I think back, didn't she say something similar about not having items buyers want as a niche to fill or opportunity, or something to that effect?

let the truth be told, that was brought up in one of the threads in Pop Land last week. I questioned it, (naughty me) and am now on KaRay's watch list.  Wave
