Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Uh oh, it looks like a popper cheerleader is claiming they had 71 sales in one week thanks to their active spamming campaign.  This is sure to inspire other poppers to flood every forum and discussion groups with their store urls. WP spam may become worse than the viagra spam.

Quote:Highway98  05 Dec 2006 12:29

Hello all,
Between July 26th (when I opened my store) and November 25th
I had a grand total of 4 sales here on WP.

On November 26th I began to do some active promotion of my
store using several online discussion forums, newgroups, and
Yahoo groups. I had been posting merchandise to fill the
shelves of my store like a madman for two weeks prior to this
and when I reached the magic number of 1500 items on the
shelves I began doing some self promotion.

So far I'm pleased with the results. I'm in it for the long haul
with WP but also knew I was going to have to be a lot more
proactive in drawing customers to my store than I ever had to
be on Ebay. I knew it would take a lot more man-hours of
work on my part to make my WP Store fly, and while it can
get tedious sometimes doing it, I can take solace in the fact
that I'm not shelling out $750 - $1000 to Ebay every month
any longer.

In one week I've gotten 24 new people to join up with WP who
have already made purchases from me. I've received a lot of
email inquires from people about the items I have offered, most
of whom I suspect I'll be hearing back from with sales over the
next few days. I'm finding links to my store appearing in forums
and newsgroups posted by others who have visited the store
and liked what they saw and decided to spread the word ( and
let me tell you, that was such a rush to see! )

With 71 items sold in the last week with an average total of
merchandise for each sale of $31.79 I'm a happy camper.

So those of you who sometimes feel like you're ready to give
up hope with your WP Store -- take heart -- it's going to take
time for people to become familiar with the site, but with some
extra effort on everyone's part at drawing people to Wagglepop
and making them aware of its existance, success can be ours.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
When I was selling on ebay in a store format the magic number seemed to be 100, on WP it is 1500? (they actually have over 1700 items) So they claim to have sales totalling around 2200 in one week (71 x 32)...we are talking Wankyourbutt here aren't we???

Ok, so if I contacted all my relatives and asked them to signup for Yankmychain.com and told them each to purchase something from me, but they didn't have to actually buy the item I could have 71 sales on Yankmychain in a week.

I went and looked at what they are selling and I am sorry but pictures of ninja turtles and other comic figures do not strike me as "I gotta have type items" and on ebay most of them sold for under $20 bucks and there are pages and pages of unsold animation cels.  Some did sell for a lot more but they were framed, etc.
Good bye all

I kind of figured the 'testimonials' would start up since the numbers are still dropping. I hate to call someone a liar that I don't know, but I seriously have a hard time believing that little story. Either a.) This is a friend or alter-ego of Ray or b.)What Sweet said, friends and family.

And the 'magic number'? Give me a break. It WAS 100 on WP according to some of the cheerleaders. Must be its gone up - hell, they gotta have some way to justify no sales/traffic.

Laughing4 Laughing4
I would like all of you to know that I have had over 100 sales today, that is right - Today!!  I never thought it would happen to me but it did!! I worked really hard and got my name out there and people just flocked to my stuff and didn't care what kind of price I had on it or what it was, they just bought it!!

Of course, since I don't really have a store or anything for sale right now (it is going to be hard to fill those orders), but they paid me and now I have lots of money to go buy the stuff that they didn't really buy and I don't really have, but see if you all work really hard you can make lots of money on this site, even if you don't have products!!!  I did.

(for my free video on selling stuff you don't have, send $49.99 shipping and handling and I might just send it to you!!  No returns or refunds cuz that is how much it cost me to ship it and I probably have already spent your money)
Good bye all

What no bonus item if I order it now and no easy payment plans? I was really hoping to get that free bonus steak knife set and the video for 5 easy payments.

WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY

HOW MANY STORES DOES RAY HAVE ON WP?

As I reported prior to this wagglefact today the store count dropped by 2 to 674. I am not sure if anyone else noticed but as soon as I posted that the count jumped back up to 676 and has since fallen back to 675.

675 seems to be Rays new benchmark in regards to stores on WP. He will not allow it to go much lower than that.

FACT:
There are over 300 stores with less than 50 items listed. Taking an average as I have figured before I put the fees per item at $.63 per listing. That is just listing fees no other fees. We all know there are much cheaper places to list at with that listing rate. Even ebay would make more sense than that $.63 per listing. My question is why would 300+ people waste money every month for no sales? Well the answer is they are not. Most of those stores are Ray's ghost stores and he has many other stores that he uses to keep the listing #'s up as well as the sales #'s up.

WHY & HOW?

Why is easy with the statements he has made in regards to site goals he needs to do it so people will believe his scam and continue to pay him his $9.95 a month. It is all a part of his scam.

How? Did you ever notice when someone says they are going to close there store the store count jumps by 1 or 2 and then falss back to the original # or 1 below it.

take a look at this link before he removes it!
http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/admin-test-store

I have seen this link which is for a store that shows up with 1 item in it when the store count jumps up. That is the fall back #. Ray adds it when he needs the # to go up and takes it down after he has replaced the store that is going to close with a ghost store.

By the way Ray the name on this store just proves the fact that you did try to hack my computer.

Another thing that I wish to touch on is the store name and post from Highway98. The post is Raythink and motivation for the cheerleaders not to mention the store is a possible Ray store. 71 sales in less than a week get real. I am sure once Ray decides to leave feedback for himself the sales were at lightning speed all within 3 minutes of each other. Ray you should market the bulk buyer program you are running. I think there are a few sellers that would like to use it!

What I find most quesitonable is the fact that Ray refuses to let buyers import or link to feedback on other sites, yet the feedback on this "test" store is incredibly high. Rules just don't apply to anyone but the poppers.

Bonus Wagglefact

Check out user id romeo361 he I am sure counts the sales to himself. Check it out you will see what I mean.

By the way the 361 I know what that # means Ray! That wasn't very bright to let that # be seen on your part! It just confirms what I know even more!

Quote:Every month, we'll be updating this page with the most current information about the status of and progress of Wagglepop in our stated goal to become a true alternative online auction marketplace. You'll find no bluster or hype on this page, just honest talk and upfront information about where we are, where we need to be, and how we'll get there.

Many have inquired about what the site's goals are, and what the "advertising" plans are. Good and fair questions, and Wagglepop Today exists to address those points openly and honestly. As dedicated members, you deserve straight answers to direct questions. You deserve to know what's "happening" with the site. You'll always find those answers here.

December 2006

Moving into and through December and into the new year, as a company we continue to work towards building our vision of what a selling community should be.

In doing so, we hope to continue to attract sellers for whom building a business on Wagglepop is about offering quality items and products, fair prices, excellent customer service, and building a customer base for the long-term.

Succeeding will not be instantaneous or easy, but for those that are persistent in building their business each and every day, the results can be extremely rewarding. "Easy" is for the masses; we want Wagglepop to represent everyone for whom the challenge of building a new business is simply a task to complete, and strive for. It's for those who want to do the work, and understand the value of that effort

The New Wagglepop Today is our.  Still a bunch of double talk and bullshit.
