TRUTH,
I think Toys4Boys said something similar in a PM to me a few months back after he did some research on the registration and traced it to some cell phone number. He was totally freaked and closed his WP store in a flash. I followed suit shortly thereafter.

Please keep us posted -- I must say I'm a bit unnerved.

Would this also be the reason many of us receive phishing emails from Paypal and ebay?  I hardly ever got them and then when I joined up with WP they bombed my inbox and haven't stopped.  I'm not even selling on ebay right now and I get a couple a day.

I am crushed :'( :'(, I have to wait until Jan. 22 to watch the next episode of HEROES!!!  HOW DARE THEY mess with me like that!!

Hey chiquita, nice song...you be good!!! :turkey2:

For those of you that don't use remote access let me explain.

If you use it you can be on a computer a 1000 miles away as if you were right in front of it. You can print from it, copy and paste from it and etc. I use it all the time from home to access pictures and other info as well as be able to access data that would tie up to much memory from my home computer. Most computers with windows XP have this feature.

I noticed this weekend that someone was using the computer in question for some time and thought nothing of it as my partner may have been on it. However as I was about to leave the office for the day I noticed someone trying to get into it. My partner was standing right next to me at the time. We stopped the intrusion and logged the IP address. We also checked where this IP address was coming from and it comes back to one of the internet service providers that would provide to Rays house ( a cable company ).

If you remember when you registered for WP your IP address was logged as was mine from two differant computers. In my case both our ID's were terminated by WP. One with a store and one that was never really used until the day after we were banned.

In short I find it way to strange that it would be someone else other than Ray. Think about it I have only been posting to TT since the 25th of november and in that short period of time I have brought questions (reporting on his scam) that he doesn't want known and I have on just begun to report on this. He will do anything to hide the truth and nothing will stop me from reporting the truth I have proved both already (see wagglefacts).

If anyone wants to help me go to my website, there are ways that you can help in X-POP NATION as well as providing info. I will gladly accept any info.

Anyway this has not stopped my efforts in anyway but rather has pissed me off and made me want to get him more (I will). The wagglefacts will come everyday until WP is closed for good. It is just today I felt given my situation the wagglefact posted could not wait.

A free proxy server will mask your IP address and make it seem like you are somewhere you are really not.

I don't use it, have never and never will because I have no reason to anymore. If anyone still sells on WP or lurks the boards there I recomend to because if you don't Ray will log your Ip right from registration. He has proven in the past that he can't be trusted and we all know the scam he is pulling so don't give him the least bit of info on yourself. That is my best advice if you are still at WP. I on the other hand and in this thread have been very visable. My web address is on every post and I sign my posts the same way everytime. I have nothing to hide and I have based everything I have said on the truth and facts. I believe in not lying about who WE are and because of it I assume people on TT will respect us for it. That is all we expect of TT members and I also believe that the truth protects us.

Maybe! But I can tell you this much I will find out for sure and we have also gotten an increase in this type of stuff in the past week. If you sell on ebay download there toolbar, believe it or not it helps!

p.s. try downloading IE 7.0 there are some good filters on it to prevent phishing. I use it on all my computers and next year it will become the industry standard.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
The ebay and pp phishing emails are so obvious they're laughable.  Every time I make a sale, I get them from ebay and paypal -- just like clockwork.  When I signed up with ecrater, I got them, too.  Selling on Craig's list, or anywhere else, for that matter, will also spawn phishing emails.  These phishers can somehow zap into cyberspace and harvest these email addresses.  It's a problem everywhere, not just ebay, pp and wp.

Just delete 'em and forget 'em and chill.

And regarding the ebay toolbar?  There's an article on TT here somewhere that says it's the worst of the lot and not to be trusted.  You still have to use your own instinct and knowledge...
