So the Wiz is part of the Wagglepop project????    :o :o :o
It makes me wonder now if "Karen" is Lora.

I guess I just mis-interpreted him.

Vitalfinds Wrote:We're all sellers. How many of us would trash a potential long-term customer over .30? I'm probably wasting my breath, but I really would like to see the wp sellers get outraged over wp suspending sellers with less than a $5 balance, with just a seven day billing sysle and a no-warning suspension.

Well said.

I notice that Wagglepop's customer service rep Karen answered and addressed you by your real first name in her post despite the fact that you didn't sign your 2 posts in that thread with your real name.  A customer service rep disclosing a user's real first name on a forum qualifies as a privacy violation--is Karen friends with eBay Stores pink Nalani who has a similar lack of regard for privacy rights?  Laughing7

EDITED to add: Will publicly disclosing user's personal information be the tactic WP uses on anyone who dares dissent?

How Nice!  After WP's CS Rep Karen violated a user's privacy rights in one post, WP Karen has posted a second time and is now trying to cast doubt on that seller's reputation because the seller isn't toeing the WP line.

Wagglepop CS Rep Karen Wrote:However, is this subject, the thirty cents going to PayPal, really what you're going to base your decision on?

Not the Buy More Now with DynamicDiscounts feature? Not the Red Carpet Customer feature? Not SmartSell Pro? Not Scheduled End Times?

Not everything else?

It all seems to contradict the view we have of you, and your reputation, as a seller.

Further proof that *Karen* is probably *Ray*.  His short fuse and arrogance is starting to come forth loud and clear....  That kind of statement is exactly what Ray would say.  Granted, Vital is baiting the situation, but *Karen* has bit and is chomping down hard.

Exactly why *I* would never have a brick and mortar open to the public -- my short fuse.  Someone would end up punching ME in the mouth by the end of the first day, and my initial customers would probably never return....  Ray also has the same short fuse and likes to fight back in defense, but he also can't see the concern and logic behind his sellers giving a damn whether or not PayPal takes all of his funds.  He can only see what HE thinks is absolutely wonderful.  Yes, all of his special selling tools for sellers are interesting and useful and good for WP.  But throwing your money away is just plain lunacy.

Different day, same nightmare.  Tongue2

I have to often ask myself why.  Why is logic so illogical to some.

I'm going to ignore those comments from Karen for now but they are getting a bit strange.

Strange as in they sound like Ray?

Add a NOT to this quote by Karen and it sounds almost exactly like what Ray said to you last year.

Karen 2006 Wrote:"than Wagglepop may be for you. "

2005 WP Wrote:"than Wagglepop may NOT be for you. "
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site.

Yup ... I caught that immediately and read it a couple times.  In general though, "Karen" or whoever she is doesn't sound like Ray to me, but if she isn't, and isn't connected to the software site then it really makes me wonder just who she is.

I don't know who Karen is, but I was finding her explanation of the suspension problem rather funny when she mentioned "a  change in the coding"  Laughing7 Automatic suspensions on that script are a simple matter of setting 1 for yes or 0 for no in the admin panel under the invoicing system setup (I'm looking at the script demo right now).  No "coding" changes are necessary...just typing 1 or 0 Smile

Quote:Automatically suspend user's account that are overdue on payment: (1=yes,0=no)
Overdue amount limit before the users account is suspended: (enter amount)
Number of default days for invoices to be over due: (enter number of days)

It would take WP under 1 minute to change the values so users aren't suspended for amounts under $1...but I'm sure if WP does make that change they'll use their usual BS and say their "engineering department" spent days recoding the software to make it possible.  Laughing4

oops-off topic  :-[ , but Karen's attempts to BS her way through an obvious lack of real technical knowledge do remind me of Ray who shares a similar lack of experience with web software/servers/reality.
