There once was a man with slippers on his feet. Whose knowledge was based on delete, His site grew so small He had nothing at all, And was known as a liar and a cheat. |

I guess I should say goodnight, but this is so much fun.
I've still got to address those darn Happy Holidays :hoxmasn2: cards to the customers that I meant to do two days ago! I also haven't decorated or bought the first present yet. :blinkie: Oh well...I work better under pressure anyway. So and I'll see y'all tomorrow!!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
TRUTH:
Great WAGGLEFACT! I, too, was wondering about the payment acceptance policy for WP. From the time I registered, I found it very odd that WP only accepted PayPal and didn't have a merchant account like most businesses. And if I remember correctly, when I first registered in July, my payment actually went directly into Ray's account, not a WP account. After registering, I reviewed my PayPal and saw this name Ray Romeo and thought "who the hell is that?" I only linked it with WP because of the dates and the amount sent. Never hearing that name before, I just figured the money was going into another DBA or something. Another issue with PayPal and WP which I find very disturbing: Even though my WP account was canceled in September, because of the way PayPal is set up, the receiver of funds is provided the personal email and address of the sender, as shown on the PayPal account. Ray may have excommunicated me from WP but unless he destroyed my personal information (doubtful), he will have it forever to do with whatever he pleases. There is no privacy policy in force for non-members. He can sell it to spammers and scammers and make a few extra bucks, keep me on file for invitations to WP3, WP4, or whatever. Who knows? I don't spam (few here probably even know what my Store name is), so I don't know what-all can be done with it. Chances are, at this very moment, he is still making money off of me (and every other x-Popper) by capitolizing on my email address and personal info. I'm still reeling from the deletion of the PayPal thread on WP. Karen's advising a member to open another PayPal account after the current account was frozen just so WP can get its monthly fee is discpicable, and deleting the thread wherein a member advised against it as this would be grounds for PayPal's permanent sanction of the PayPal member, demonstrates that KaRay is out for greed with no ethics whatsoever. I am truly appalled. It's obvious the reason the thread was deleted was not just because Poppers might see it, but because WE might see it and spread word of it here and elsewhere, as it speaks for itself what KaRay is all about. |
