This Paypal and thread, (and really all the info) - is there a reason it isn't being posted on PSU?

HOLY CARP!! Did they just get busted?!?

Quote:Can anyone tell me if thisnthat is still a seller here? There is an item for auction that ends today and I wanted to ask about shipping. I have been trying by PM and by e-mail but have gotten no response.

Quote:It looks like their store has plenty of merchandise, maybe they are away from the computer unexpectedly? Karen might be able to tell you if the account is active or not...

Quote:No, the thisnthat person is no longer a seller here. She often complained of not having enough sales here, but when I bought one of her items she did not send an invoice, closed her store a few days later, then sent an IM a few days after that saying that she did not send my invoice because her items had already been moved to storage. I'm sure that 99% of the Wagglepop sellers that remain are far more reliable. Most of the not-so-great sellers have 'left the building' at this time (my opinion).

Seller gone but store still there... hrmm...

:popcorneaters:

Edited to add: NEVERMIND. The poster actually admitted she was wrong about something!

Edited again to add: Perhaps "Miss-I-make-$600-every-few-weeks" you should better document what you're saying before you start your venomous spewing. I wouldn't sell on WP if YOU paid ME, partly because of the haughty attitude of moroons like you!
[/quote]

ok any lurkers out there reading this. I know how karay has his numbers so high... I hand deleted all my items... I got another person to check my items, they were gone. As soon as I got my ban... and paid my fees, my access was blocked.. My items magically reappeared.. so it seems once you post them... they are there forever. I am there person who sold that item... LOL this is getting more and more weird...

None that I can think of. I've never posted on PSU, but for those of you who are members there, I do believe it is a worthy post and ABSOLUTELY something that should be reported. KaRay's actions in this case truly go beyond the bounds of any business ethics I can think of.

Edit: I take that back. I actually did post on PSU regarding e-commerce auctions other than eBay, and I ended up getting spammed by a bunch of cheerleaders for various sites and haven't gone back to PSU since.

Alskling,
Quote:Another issue with PayPal and WP which I find very disturbing: Even though my WP account was canceled in September, because of the way PayPal is set up, the receiver of funds is provided the personal email and address of the sender, as shown on the PayPal account. Ray may have excommunicated me from WP but unless he destroyed my personal information (doubtful), he will have it forever to do with whatever he pleases. There is no privacy policy in force for non-members. He can sell it to spammers and scammers and make a few extra bucks, keep me on file for invitations to WP3, WP4, or whatever. Who knows? I don't spam (few here probably even know what my Store name is), so I don't know what-all can be done with it. Chances are, at this very moment, he is still making money off of me (and every other x-Popper) by capitolizing on my email address and personal info.

I feel the same way. In fact I was going to talk about this in the wagglefact yesterday but I wanted to keep it short and to the point. I don't trust Ray one bit. He has proven in the past he can't be trusted with people's email addresses. In todays world a simple email address can mean alot more then spam!

Quote:Posted the info about yesterday's thread under "Other Online Auction" in my thread Wagglepop.  Also told them to message me if they wanted more info.

I think this topic deserves a NEW thread. I tried to find it on PSU and got lost amongst the blah, blah from recent posts from cheerleaders claiming posts are deleted for good reason and posters of deleted posts are just a bunch of negative bad apples and deserve what they get.

Encouraging members to jeopardize their credit rating and break PayPal's policies (by establishing a second account when the first has been frozen) for the sake of getting their invoices paid to KaRay is beyond any ethical business standards in the known universe. And deleting a thread wherein a fellow Popper was admonishing the delinquent member NOT to do it because of that, proves that it's KaRay's pocket and not the sellers' businesses that KaRay cares about.

Add to that the questionable practice of harvesting personal information from current and X-Poppers' PayPal accounts for sale to spammers and scammers, and the picture becomes even clearer to anyone but the most myopic Poppers.

Awesome Wagglefact!  Has anyone noticed (besides me) that the Farewell Thread is not being used?  I may be taking a leap here, but it seems to me that doors are being slammed shut and former poppers have nothing nice or constructive to say..... Happy001

I am not at all surprised that the PayPal thread was deleted.  KaRay thinks if no one can see it, it never existed.  I hope that someone from PayPal manages to see it since it was recorded for posterity.

Oh, I see that I have karma, too.  Thank you.
