Hey Banana,

I just posted all this info from here on PSU as it pertains to Bratpack's interaction with us. Opinions I don't mind even if they disagree with mine. But I take great offense at slander and misinformation.  Angryfire

Edited to add: the Search function was quick - not me.  Toothy9

Hey better that it is in two places. I agree about the misinformation. Clarification is now apparently mandatory.

Good Morning,

I have been reading some of this thread and would like to know what are some of the better selling alternatives to E-Bay & WP.  I have already tried Yahoo, BlueJay, Ioffer, Overstock, and WP.  The only place I got any sales were WP, so if they are as bad as you all say, what other auction sites do you suggest?  I am honestly sick of moving all my items around and keeping track of it all on different sites.  If there is a thread that discusses this will someone please lead me in the right direction?  Thanks.

Bratpack said on PSU that he/she didn't say they were on WP. Above is post 1 of 2 from bratpack. Below in the quote is post 2 of 2.

Quote:  Thanks for the replies.  I sell collectable toys, mostly action figures and vintage glass & pottery.  I am not looking to start my own website right now, I do not have the time or energy to start a project like that.  I just want to stop paying so many high fee's to e-bay, looking to bring down that costly invoice.

Maybe bratpack just forgot they mentioned WP was a selling venue for them.

One of the best things I like about Bratpack is that he beratted the posters who get "insulting", yet praised Angelsong who has been the most insulting of them all.

Does this MO sound familiar?

Edited to add the question mark.

From WP thread: Advanced Selling: Wagglepop Stores - How important is the shrinking WP store numbers?

Yes, you are dead-on, Highway. I've followed a few ex-WPoppers and it is amazing. One has down opened and closed no less than 4 off ebay stores (it might be 5... hard to tell exactly), coming in all up-beat at the beginning and then bad mouthing the site within a couple months without really giving it a try. On top of that, she/he is now back on ebay bad-mouthing the other sites AND badmouthing ebay AND has opened and left 2 independent domain name stores, yes, bad-mouthing each of those companies that help folks open their own websites. And this person has a pretty darn good niche, great graphics, lots of market appeal, but basically not a pinch of patience or willingness to see a project through. Gosh, what I could do with his/her stock, graphics, and market niche...

A shame, but who can sit and weep for these folks?

:wtf: :wtf: And we're accused of being stalkers??

You are absolutely right! And I missed it too so I stand corrected in my response on this point.

I see shades of KaRay in the MO but am not yet convinced that is who it is. Time will tell because Ray cannot resist, well being Ray and if we miss conclusive proof I know the veterans of WP1 can identify it. But for now I personally don't see it.
