Oh, and karma?

I imagine you don't mean real karma. You're referring to karma, as it exists on this board.

When someone likes your post, they applaud. When someone dislikes your post, they smite. Simple as that. You would have a better chance on this, or any other board, if you had approached the board in a friendly manner, rather than hefting your Spartan body shield and lobbing a few thinly veiled insults / spam posts at an existing topic. Thus, you've probably been smitten by someone for your obvious spam.

We welcome differing opinions and constructive discussions. We can also see right through sockpuppets and cheerleaders.

Great post, Thentavius. Thumbsup

Quote:I'd really like to know how that snakecharmer manages to recruit so many willing WP "spammers for the cause."

Well, I have three theories related to your conjecture.

1. The spammer is Ray, or related or sleeping with. Tongue1
2. The spammer is getting paid. Violent1
3. The spammer is sincere and stupid. Sad

Bell,

Thentavius posted his comment before mine.  I hope he and Stardust reconsiders.

I realize that it's easy to suspect Ray of anything, but you're on the wrong track.  Will you all please, pretty please welcome princessmirandajo and give her the benifit of the doubt if she'll come back again?  I've sent one other person here as well and I hope they don't get this reception.

The reason why I'm in communication with some of these wp sellers is the fact that I've been outspoken lately, so I've heard from a couple of people, and rather than trying to tell my version of things, I thought it would be best to send them to the source where they'd be able to ask their own questions and be able to make a more informed decision about Wagglepop.

I had wanted to support the site, but it's getting a little weird there.

Another happy wagglepoop camper (the "you" he is referring to is WP customer service rep "Karen"

seller Wrote:You Disagree!!???? You didn't read anything that I posted did you? There are others that posted the same thing. I dont see how more SPECIFIC we can be. I agree with everything that BigJozlyn has posted. I posted the same issues on Aug 20th. I was ignored. Guess what I tried the disconnection of Router, still didn't work. And I agree with BigJozlyn, Why should we have to do that?? Dont have to on ebay, overstock, yahoo.

WP will be gone again. Can't handle the traffic. Just like last time. Remove my account. I wont be back. This type of Customer Service is CRAP. I'm a very patient person believe it or not. I worked over 12 hours yesterday trying to get this damn thing going. Hell I couldn't even bid on something that I found. Come back today hoping that someone listened to me and was working on the problem. WRONG! Boy was I wrong. WP is just as bad as ebay.

Thanks for wasting my time.

Wagglepop's CS rep displays a bit of paranoia.  The people complaining about having technical problems have "an agenda" Happy001

WP Wrote:Likely a bit of disinformation going around, perhaps as part of some agenda.

Remember, everything that happens, good or bad, we see, and the logs simply do not support any reports of widespread access issues.

We've invested a tremendous amount of time and money into the background infrastructure, and it's really paying off quite nicely in terms of access and traffic Smile

Again on the same thread, WP Karen agrees with a poster who suggested the complainers are part of plot by jealous eBay people:
Popper Fan Wrote:My opinion of this whole negative trashing is, And this is just my opinion, That as I look at the posts, I suspect thier are a bunch (E-B people very un happy that WP made it back up and will do anything to create negativity towards WP.
WP Wrote:I agree, I think it's something else going on here, and it likely has nothing to do with access...

Vital,

I do believe she/he/whatever is a spammer, so no I won't welcome her spam, speaking for myself only, of course.

There are other things I don't welcome either.

By her own admission, princessmirandajo was talking about wp on ebay, but you won't see that happening anymore.  She, like a few other "wp cheerleaders" have begin to see things that have brought up some questions -- and those questions have been asked, and have gone unanswered, so there will likely be more "former wp cheerleaders" coming here to try and find out the facts since it isn't happening on the wp boards.

Okay.  I could be wrong, and have posted a knee-jerk reaction because I DO remember the constant ebay stores board spamming, and that genius statement just set me off -- A Ray Rhodes blast from the past...  :Smile

I will always give the benefit of the doubt. So... based on Vital's recommendation... Miranda, I hereby sincerely apologize.  I hope you are truly here for the purpose of NOT spamming unrealistic wagglepop carp.  I've certainly been wrong about things before, and will, in the future, not jump to conclusions so rapidly.

Most of us over here were burned by Ray the first time, and are apprehensive about hundreds of sellers being burned again.  Only this time, they will most likely also lose money to the endeavor.  >Sad

Bring them on.  The fewer that get burned by this fruitcake, the better!   Smile

Boy, you can say that again!  Dejavu all over with the paranoia on folks trying to destroy his site.  All folks want to do is support it, and for him to build it large enough to contain the inventory they would like to list!  Is that so hard to understand???

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
A number of sellers have been doing the equivalent of putting their fingers in their ears and singing "la la la la" so they can't hear what they don't want to hear (and in fact someone even had a gif for it).  But I've also gotten the impression that there is more of a concern developing than is being outwardly expressed.  Given the nature of what can happen when Karen/Ray has a temper tantrum, it's actually understandable to do the research "behind the scenes" if the seller has already invested time in setting up their store and doesn't want it shut down (yet).
