I agree.  Saying 'Kumbaya' and trying to ignore a problem isn't going to help when you come to the inevitable "negative" bumps in the road that every business encounters.

Quote:Hello Members,

I hope you will find the following data useful.

We conducted an interesting little experiment over the past two days with the user account of a member who closed their Store and account weeks ago, with the issue reported as "cannot list" etc.

We took the closed account and re-activated it, and had associates or friends in the following six geographic regions attempt to use the site and specifically, list, using that exact user account:

> Northeast, US (4 different)
> Southeast, US
> Southwest, US
> Upper middle states area, US
> Upper West Coast area, US
> Province of Ontario, Canada

The results?

Not a single report of any problems whatsoever, using the exact same user account of a member who had abandoned it, for their inability to list properly.

Process that as you will, but it seems rather strong evidence of a client-side issue with using that account (PC configuration/connectivity) as opposed to anything server related.

Same old crap - different year.

Creative editing on the waggleflop board is still going on as well. One thread on the Technical Issues board has the original post gone; and I went to copy & paste a post and the damned thing was gone. I don't think RaKaren likes BigJozlyn much.  :o I have a feeling that he is gone, too.

Yep same old crap but maybe worse based on the closed account incident.  I would be very pissed if a venue allowed their "friends" to use an account I had closed. :Smile

I thought this information was worthy of a post on the Ebay stores board for those who are thinking about waggleflop as an alternative.  :twistedevil:

Good Grief!

"We can't find a problem on our end, so it must be your problem!"

Which other online auction site does that sound like, hmmmmmmmm???????  (hint, hint... please clear your cache and delete all cookies, then we'll talk to you... maybe)

I don't understand how it proves anything at all.  Guess I'm slow today.
